It's all a work. They were both sent home because they wouldn't shave off their sideburns.

You're talking about John Cena here, right? Honestly, the entire company. No one sells or uses psychology anymore. That’s why I mentioned how stupid getting in trouble for something like that really is. But people aren't going rogue to kick out of those finishers, that's just what the match is. Your point amounts to "Oh, but when they don't do what they're told they get punished, all that other shit they were cool with was fine".

Here's what Meltzer says - There's a lot of untrue info out there. One thing that's not true is the tour bus thing with Owens complaining loudly, he wasn't even on the bus after the tapings. - The finish of the match happened as it was supposed to with Kofi pinning Zayn. - The post-match however is being told different ways depending on how you hear it but that's the point of contention. That's where the issue lies. - None of this has to do with Neville, Jacobs or etc. - Neither guy is looking to leave the WWE. - It's all up to Vince to decide what he wants to do. You can't predict his actions. This is the one that sticks out to me as a really big deal. Like clearly things aren't totally adding up here, but this one sticks out to me in particular; where did this bit come from if he was never even on the bus? Is this a really sloppy work? Did someone else have an incident on the bus and someone thought it was Owens? Is someone with a grudge shittalking him and spreading lies? This is such a weird-ass story. Sin Cara wearing an Eric Young beard being annoying

"Yeah, yeah, he was complaining loudly and it was pissing everyone off. He was almost thrown off the bus man. Forreal."
"How can I trust you? Are you sure about that? He really did it?"
"Whoo whoo, you know it bro. He did."
"Ok thanks." I want this to be Dolph's new gimmick. He has such an axe to grind that he calls dirt sheets pretending to be Ryder and just feeds unfounded rumors to everybody he can.

Sounds like just another fake rumor he's squashing, similar to how the "they made a tasteless joke" thing came about. We've been hearing about problems on the buses lately (Hi, Enzo!) so somebody just made up that Owens did the same.

The tasteless joke thing was just some twitter rando stirring shit, though; the bus story was reported by PWI and by the way Johnson wrote it, at least two people told him shit went down on the bus, and I don't think he's sourcing random twitter rumours. "We are also told there was a situation where Owens was allegedly complaining loudly on a tour bus after the taping, which one person decreed was "the last straw following a long few days of touring." Another person who was on the bus cited that Owens was "just venting" and that it wasn't a major issue, but that the situation at TV may have exacerbated the situation, forcing WWE's hand. " But now Meltzer says he was never on the bus? Something is really f***y about this

Cornette and Steen/Owens both tell the exact same stories, so there's no denial of what happened, and Cornette is the dick in all of them. Cornette was sinking ROH and taking the people carrying the company on their backs for granted. Steen/Owens put his foot down, brass-ringed and made for a better product. Still, Owens has history of fighting with people that puts food on his table whether it was with Rougeau, ROH, etc....In many ways, it had not happened in the WWE cause they kissed his butt from the moment he came in. Was pushed hard on NXT, defeated Cena on his first match, Hunter chose him as Champ, most of the Raws at some point was the KO-Jericho show and they had Vince and Shane put him over recently. But maybe the whole thing is creeping back in... Again, what are the examples of him "fighting" with people. Outside of ROH and Rougeau, what other stories/incidents exist?

I'm not sure how much I trust Meltzer these days seen as he just 2 days ago said that the UK crowd didn't know who Pete Dunne was and only cheered because he's the UK Champion.

They could recognize that he has the title from his theme song? Because I looked that clip up and second his music hits the place explodes.

SWERVE it was Owen Owens who was complaining! Well, he's only 9 years old. Kids tend to get cranky. Swerve again, since Owen is in the target demo age group, or one of them, his complaint was seen actually as a focus group and thus, his complaint is now being run with, and that is how the storylines will change.

Yeah, Alvarez said he got a massive pop and Meltzer 'corrected' him by saying he didn't get it straight away as they didn't know who he was (ignoring that he did get it straight away and most knew damn well who he was) and said the crowd only popped when he was introduced as champion... You know as if like they could introduce Roman Reigns as UK Champion and the place would react as like Rock, Austin and Hogan all walked out. I was in the crowd, the second his music hit, I jumped out my seat as did most of the people around me.

If he was wrong about that then it's on him, but it'd have nothing to do with his reporting on his sources, which tends to be the best in the industry (while obviously not being infallible).
