Interesting. So, unless we hear anything more, this seems like a stressful situation where people were sent home to calm them down and no action’ll be taken. I mean, that seems like a summation but they don’t seem like they’re going to be that punished for it then. You say before Owens loses a Last Man Standing match to Ellsworth who beats him into a bloody puddle using Zayn. Is that before or after all the women come out and destroy all of them?

So Alvarez brought up a point that I didn’t think about until now so I might as well throw it here. When Smackdown used to be taped all the time, it was common for them to make edits in shows, add in crowd cheers (SEAGULL POP!) and redo match endings or send people out if something was supposed to be added to it. Considering that this was a taped show and they edited the Shane segment earlier because of Shane misunderstanding the crowd with Bryan, why didn’t someone get out there or send someone out there to tell Zayn and Owens to run back in and get beaten up if that was the case? Maybe they were told and refused? Maybe Zayn and Owens had been clear going in they didn't want to take the beatdown and were given an ultimatum that they ignored, so WWE said 'screw it, you're going home'? It could also be the case that nobody thought to do so, or they figured a taped edit would just call attention to the situation. After all, it's not like taped main roster shows happen much at all these days, and the internet would jump right on something being drastically different from the spoiler reports.

I like the guys at PWInsider but that should have been obvious when they started advertising KO and Sami against New Day.

Like when Nikki Bella had a a promo against AJ that came off too faceish and actually got her face pops. or when Kaitlyn joined the Divas of Doom.

I know they have cut promos for not getting the reaction they wanted.

I mean... Primo & Epico, Harper and Rowan and New Day also seemed to have left the tour some days early. They're not in matches from the last last few nights, going by WWE.com. That's another reason to think there is a "work" element to this. The New Day are working the RAW shows in Germany.

Sure, but they haven’t really done anything like that in some time, since Smackdown went live. If nothing else, they just aren’t used to have my the luxury of retaping anything but NXT these days.
