What are some of your examples of music videos that are hard to watch? Whether it includes a cringe-worthy moment, or something that is harsh in hindsight (More on this in a bit), or something that is just unsettling about it. Actually, anything can apply. Here are my picks:
1. Aaliyah - Rock The Boat It is mainly because it was the last music video she shot before her untimely demise. It's a good song and the video was well-shot, but knowing what happened not long after the video was done, it is just depressing to sit through.
2. Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston - Something In Common Well, the ending part is hard to watch (Watch the video and cut to the end to see what I mean).
3. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony - The Crossroads That video just creeped me out when I was a kid, particularly the part with the old man's eyes turning black. *shudder*
4. SWV - Weak The video just made me cringe with the boxing theme.
What are your picks?

Crossroads makes me sad. One of my best friends from High a school was a huge bone Thugs fan. We used to listen to them a ton. He passed away a couple years after school and every time I hear that song it reminds me.

I don't know if it counts as a music video. But nirvana's where did you sleep last night. The end of the song you can just see kurts soul leave him like he knows his time on earth is almost over.

The one with Bjork lacing up her back like a corset is kinda wince-inducing.

Big fan of Sigur Ros.. they make great music videos.
The one of them though which I won’t name. I don’t want To break any rules. Well it’s a typical arty and visually striking Sigur Ros style video.... but you may have some splainin to do if you caught watching it.
To be blunt it features nudist teenagers.

One by Metallica, with the deaf, mute and blind amputee. F***, just a terrifying condition to be in.

Rock DJ by Robbie Williams. When he starts tearing his body apart, it gets hard to watch.

Because watching it means you have to listen to Millenium by Robbie Williams. That song is awesome, this is blasphemous. Also, Bieber? The only unsettling video he's done was that "Where Are U Now" one where there's a bunch of freaky computer imagery all over his face. The rest of the videos I've seen from him are pretty tame.

I was just joking, because everyone hates Bieber. My real answers are "Maps" by Maroon 5 because of how that lady looks after the car accident, and that Aphex Twin video where the demon yells at the elderly lady (like leave her alone!)

I knew you were joking, I just didn't agree with it. Bieber's later material is way better. And yes, Aphex Twin's "Come To Daddy " is batshit insane.

never had a problem with watching any music promo, not or can't remember if i saw the uncut version of PAGAN POETRY, but i do prefer videos without censorship
In 2001, Björk's video for "Pagan Poetry" was banned from MTV for depictions of sexual intercourse, fellatio, and body piercings. Her next single, "Cocoon", was also banned by MTV as it featured a nude Björk (though the nude body was actually a fitted body suit rigged with red string).
where r u now is all done with actual drawings yeah watching any aalyah vid is always tinged with sadness rock dj is a pretty funny one
