- The Suicide Squad movie: hear me out, I don't think it's a hidden masterpiece or anything, and the second half kinda drags. But it's visually striking, it has some fun action sequences and the characters do have a good deal of persona.
- Mumble rap. Acts like Future, 21 Savage get lumped in it, but I still hear a lot of charisma and good flows from artists with that label.
- The Archie/SatAM Sonic the Hedgehog canon: Looking back on it, I really think it still holds up. It's a shame the rep of the franchise is beholden to however fans feel about the gameplay engines, because the cost is that all those entertaining storylines with Sally, Bunnie, etc. get lost in the shuffle.
(Also, I don't know how much of people's reactions to it are tinted by them just hating furries or anything funny animal related, which is a huge shame if that's the case. People in 2017 shouldn't be bothered by furries anymore, they're harmless.)
- The MLP movie: Seriously, I had a good time seeing this. It's not as hilarious or emotional as some of the show's better episodes, but some critics called it "the worst animated movie this year ". After Emoji Movie? Don't think so.
- The Power Rangers movie: It's tonally all over the place, true, and I laughed at the product placement too, and they should have been in the suits longer. But the teens themselves are very well written and engaging, they feel way more believable than the cast from the show.

co-sign on Suicide Squad. It wasn't the best thing ever made, but as far as superhero movies go I generally enjoyed it more than your average entry into what is usually a very repetitious genre.
I'll also add Guy Ritchie's King Arthur into the mix. Again, not phenomenal work but as someone who generally doesn't enjoy that kind of swords&sorcery or magic & dragons genre, seeing it through the lens of Ritchie's dialogue and style was really fun for me.

I also enjoyed Suicide Squad. I went into expecting a fun, action-packed, over the top movies with goofy action scenes, one liners and a good sound track and it delivered. It was what I expected.
Episode 1 and 3: 1 is flawed but I think it's a decent movie. 2 is shit until the final 40 minutes. 3 is a really good film but lacking the impact because Anakin and Obi-Wan's friendship hadn't been built up enough in 2.

The Hobbit Trilogy.
Very flawed series of films especially compared to the LOTR set, but enjoyable nonetheless with Richard Armitage, Martin Freeman, Benedict Cumberbatch Ian McKellen all delivering fine performances (with even Sylvester McCoy making most of the scenes as Radagast work).
The pace is inconsistent, Legolas is way over the top, the love triangle was completely unnecessary, and man some of those CGI scenes are dodgy, but I still can sit down and enjoy the films.

Daddy's home (both movies)
Are they cinematic wonders? No. Are they goofy movies that are enjoyable if taken at face value? Yep.

Oh, another one: I still enjoy Street Fighter V. The launch was absurdly bare bones, but the core gameplay is enjoyable. I feel like the time I put in yields better results than IV.

If people can't bump Future by now they never will. 21 Savage I can understand but he's put shit out that's fire. What I hate is when some dudes start slurring their words and mumble rap (Kodak Black has done that on a few songs). People can complain about this generation of rappers but the one thing they do got going for them is the fire beats they rap over

Saiban's Power Rangers: As a huge fan of the series, I thought it was a pretty solid reimagining of Mighty Morphin, giving the teens actual character development. Some of the design choices were underwhelming, but overall it was enjoyable.
It Comes At Night: Many felt the marketing sold the film as something it wasn't(which I can definitely see). It's very much a slow burn character study. That, and it's use of certain narrative tactics, I can understand it not being everyone's cup of tea, but I thought was great.
The Twin Peaks revival: Did I understand most of what was happening? No. Did I love it? Yes. Can I explain why I loved it? Not sure. That Q&A could apply to a lot of David Lynch films now that I think about it.

I'll also echo Suicide Squad.
I also finally got around to watching Batman v Superman and I enjoyed it. Much like Suicide Squad, it wasn't perfect but it was pretty decent. I've NEVER enjoyed the Superman character so that's saying a lot from me. Further, I'll defend Batfleck. I quite liked him as Bruce Wayne AND Batman. I also like the touch of throwing in the voice distortion to give him a threatening voice without the type of thing everyone pokes fun at with Bale's Bat voice from Nolan's movies.

WWE at the moment. I just enjoy it. Is there booking I'd rather went differently? Sure, but I just love watching the current crop of guys and the network content.

Avatar, wth the caveat of it being muted. It's a beautiful screensaver to have in the background while you're doing something else.

The Andrew Garfield Spider-Man films. I went into Amazing 2 expecting it to be a mess, but I thought it was honestly great!

Nickleback. I got free tickets and they put on a helluva show. Chad seemed like a legitimately nice person and was gracious the whole night.
