Geez, reading real quick, I thought this was "people who invest in Bigfoot" for a second there. We have to invest in a reactor to create a breathable atmosphere for the bigfoot population, thus removing Cohaagen's abusive grip on their economy.

I always wonder if the people who watch these kinds of shows genuinely think that eventually the show might find Bigfoot, as if such a discovery wouldn't be reported on the news first.

I don't watch any of the Bigfoot shows, but I do watch Destination Truth. I'm a huge fan of mythology and cryptozoology, and I really like the show's humor. I absolutely do not expect them to find anything. Personally, I just like exploring the folklore of whatever they're currently chasing. Plus it's fun to muse on the "evidence" they do find, and like it was said elsewhere in the thread, apply critical thinking as to how perfectly mundane events could have been misconstrued in such ways as to result in the legend of the creature du jour.
