A familiar song plays halfway through the Hello Kitty episode. Also the lyrical version of HoHo Lun's theme earlier on. Yes, I'm THAT much of a theme nerd.

One nitpick, it would have been nice to at least mention Simon Furman in the Transformers episode, since he had such an influence on the mythos.

Hmm, Toei, eh? So that’s likely one of three things, Power Rangers/Super Sentai, Dragonball, or Sailor Moon.

If I were to guess season 3 I'd guess:
Power Rangers/Super Sentai Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles My Little Pony Nerf

Meaning Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, etc.? Nope. They’ve mentioned some of them before but no episodes over them. So far across seasons 1 and 2 we’ve had Star Wars licensed toys, Barbie dolls, He-Man, G.I. Joe, Star Trek licensed toys, Transformers, LEGO, and Hello Kitty.

I could see them doing an episode about DC or Marvel's toy lines (actually, I just want them to have an excuse to talk about the DC Super Powers toys).

I am so happy they're doing wrestling figures!! They need to interview Jeremy Padawer, who was in charge of the Classic Superstars line, and Bill from Mattel. Zack Ryder being a big figure fan would be a good candidate to represent current talent, too.
Really looking forward to what they come up with.

I really hope they go to Hasbros I dont see how just the LJN line could run the whole show considering how big the other lines are then and now

I really hope they go to Hasbros I dont see how just the LJN line could run the whole show considering how big the other lines are then and now They absolutely need to cover Hasbros. Wrestling figures have such a rich and varied history that they'll never be able to give everything a greater focus, not to mention they have to make these things appeal to people who otherwise don't care and just watch because they like the format/series. I think some things can be glossed over, but the Hasbro line, the Remco line (with the He-Man influence being important), the LJN line, and maybe a hodgepodge of all the Jakks lines with larger focus on CS and modern Mattel would be ideal areas of focus. I'm so excited this is actually happening, and I glossed over Power Rangers being an episode! Those were my two biggest action figure loves, so this season is gonna rock for me.

They would have to do the Hasbro line from the WWF years, they were huge and everywhere!
