I honestly don't see Hunter or Stephanie taking over as I don't think Vince wants them to handle his company. Something tells me when he passes and I hope it's not anytime soon, but when he does die, he most likely has it in his will that Shane gets the company.
The only reason I feel Shane is back anyways is Vince is grooming him to take his spot. Similar to how Vince's father did with him.

I think Triple H is more likely to commit to angles and directions than Vince historically has been for years now. That alone will probably make for a positive difference.

The difference between Vince and HHH running the show is the difference between drinking milk that went bad a month ago vs drinking milk that went bad 2 weeks ago.

If it's like NXT we'll have an exciting undercard with a plodding main event scene to look forward to.

I figure Stephanie would own the company in name and handle the business aspects of it, while HHH would run the creative side.

Hunter is not perfect by any means, but he at least seems to have passion for the business. That's most of what I want.

Personally, I'm not sure things will be any better under HHH. It's not that I don't trust his booking philosophy, it's that I don't trust Stephanie. She has been a big part of a lot of the changes in the WWE over the last decade plus that has led to it's decline. The biggest difference between Stephanie and Vince is Vince seemed to be okay with relying on knowledgeable wrestling people in the booking department. He leaned heavily on Pat Patterson and had no problem having ex/current wrestlers be part of the creative process. Promos weren't scripted for the pre-Stephanie era, more story boarded. Part of it has to do with WWE being a corporation and not just a wrestling promotion and the other has to do with Stephanie needing to be in control of everything.

Out of that list, I'd honestly rather have Shane. I don't buy into the WWE being better under Triple H and Stephanie. I honestly think a WWE ran by Shane would be different while Triple H/Stephanie's WWE is roughly the same as what we have now.

I want Hunter and Steph combined. Vince if he steps back during his lifetime the still have a say.
Shane can go away forever.

For those who say Triple H and Steph would be the same, ehhh...
I don't think I can picture them being as neurotic about running the show as Vince. I think the two of them would rather a script be done and focus on getting it produced without the day-of rewrites Vince repeatedly pushes for. Vince sleeps like 4 hours a day, tops, by all accounts, so maybe he wants to make the kind of time to do that shit, but two people who are actively raising children and who have probably had to scramble to keep up with his whims for years, I can't imagine them running it the same way.
It also wouldn't be as self-destructing, probably, given that it wouldn't be "this is a Vince guy, this is a Triple H guy", with Vince not really being terribly invested in some of Hunter's hires, or Hunter probably not getting behind some folks as much. You'd have a less splintered power structure, and probably less strange, adversarial booking.
I don't think it'd turn WWE into Shangri-La or something. There will still be problems, but you'd likely get a more consistent show out of it, and that's been a major weakness of WWE for years now, how things can just abruptly end or be very slapdash after something set up a week prior might've had promise.

Honestly I think ever since WWE's gone into more of an old school, "Shit only happens in April and August and heels are by and large complete jokes on TV and completely unbeatable on PPV," direction it's become way worse, so I'm not remotely looking forward to Triple H actually running things.

Vince is psychologically unable to give up control, he'll die in charge. Stephanie and Hunter will take over the reins and we'll keep getting the same old shit. I'd like to see Shane take over; he hasn't lived his whole working life in WWE and would at least (potentially) bring something fresh to the table.
But instead we'll get Steph the Dominator and Trips the Walking Ego until they die, or WWE is screwed into the ground. Whichever comes first.

As long as Triple H is physically able to wrestle I don't trust him to not still ultimately put himself over at others expenses and I feel like that would get worse if he was fully in charge. I really hope when the day comes he also hangs up the boots for good.
I also think people expecting him to run WWE just like NXT will be disappointed because what NXT does isn't sustainable on the main roster. NXT benefits from having one weekly show building up to 5-6 PPV's, allowing them to not have the same people on every single week, build better angles going into the big shows, and having the occasional big match on TV and it actually meaning something. WWE has to produce 5 hours a week of content for at least one PPV a month, so some of the stuff we complain about like endless rematches and filler I think won't change that much. NXT also has the benefit of people regularly getting called up and new people being brought in, which allows them to have logical final conclusions to stories and a constantly refreshing scene. That's harder to do on the main roster.
I also think a lot of the corporate ass kissing, self promotion and buzzwords comes from Stephanie and won't change that much. Idk, basically some things may get better but I really don't think it would be entirely different.

I'm actually astonished that people don't think a HHH run WWE would be WAYYYYYYYY better.
HHH at least listens to the people paying money so the product can stay in business, ergo the FANS. Vince most certainly does not. HHH has his pulse on the fanbase, and what we want drives ratings, sales, merch, attendance etc. It'd be better than a stubborn idiotic old man who thinks being a great promoter equals being a great creator. It doesn't. There would be lengthy storylines, everyone would have something to do, and it would be interesting.
I'm not trying to attack anyone, but anyone that think Vince is doing a better job than HHH would is looking at it through glasses so rose colored they're drowning in petals. Sure he has an ego, but he at least has his finger on the pulse of the fanbase. Remember when Bryan said to Saxton (who was obviously being fed lines) "you don't understand wrestling". That's an indirect insult to Vince, because he doesn't. I cannot wait for Vince to retire.

I figure Stephanie would own the company in name and handle the business aspects of it, while HHH would run the creative side. Yeah, they're already splitting Vince's day to day between them. Steph doing the media rounds and being the person in front of the cameras and stuff while Hunter is working on the talent side of it. They've been preparing for the day Vince leaves for awhile so the stock holders don't freak out and cause it to tank.

As f***ed up as it is, I feel this XFL shit might be what puts Vince in a casket. He's 75 years old, he was only sleeping 4hrs a night while just having WWE under him and now he's got this extra entity at his age. If it doesn't kill him then surely he'll be somewhat impacted by this that Hunter will have to take over. Upon hearing about the pending XFL reboot, this was my first thought, too. What if Vince kicks the bucket BEFORE the new football launch? Would Hunter and Steph be stuck with that albatross?

I have nothing against HHH as long as he doesn’t keep bringing his kliq buddies back. He’s always been an old NWA Mark so his booking might be a welcome thing.
