As f***ed up as it is, I feel this XFL shit might be what puts Vince in a casket. He's 75 years old, he was only sleeping 4hrs a night while just having WWE under him and now he's got this extra entity at his age. If it doesn't kill him then surely he'll be somewhat impacted by this that Hunter will have to take over. Upon hearing about the pending XFL reboot, this was my first thought, too. What if Vince kicks the bucket BEFORE the new football launch? Would Hunter and Steph be stuck with that albatross? I get a feeling Trips and Steph already have a game plan for whenever they take over.

I'd say HHH (and Stephanie), but I voted Stephanie above because she was below Shane and Vince...

I'm actually astonished that people don't think a HHH run WWE would be WAYYYYYYYY better. HHH at least listens to the people paying money so the product can stay in business, ergo the FANS. Vince most certainly does not. HHH has his pulse on the fanbase, and what we want drives ratings, sales, merch, attendance etc. It'd be better than a stubborn idiotic old man who thinks being a great promoter equals being a great creator. It doesn't. There would be lengthy storylines, everyone would have something to do, and it would be interesting. I'm not trying to attack anyone, but anyone that think Vince is doing a better job than HHH would is looking at it through glasses so rose colored they're drowning in petals. Sure he has an ego, but he at least has his finger on the pulse of the fanbase. Remember when Bryan said to Saxton (who was obviously being fed lines) "you don't understand wrestling". That's an indirect insult to Vince, because he doesn't. I cannot wait for Vince to retire. If HHH was in full creative control, it would definitely be better. But if you haven't realized, Stephanie has been the head writer for quite a while and it has been getting worse over the years. She was instrumental in pushing out Bruce Prichard, who was pretty good at his job. I think HHH does have a good mind for the business and cares quite a bit about it. His job has been to develop and acquire talent, something he has clearly been very good at. IMO, this is most talented roster the WWE has ever seen. But unless Stephanie completely gives him the keys creatively, things probably won't change much. Shane is the one who interests me the most. It could be good or bad, but it will definitely be different.

My thoughts on this are simple:
No, we don't know for certain if Trips can do a better job of running things. But just like amputating a highly infected body part, it's worth a shot.

I honestly feel like just about anyone would be better than Vince at his age right now. I'll take a tank filled with matinees. A tank full of daytime movie showings? Interesting proposal...

I voted for Rod McMahon, simply because he promised to take the WWE fans white water rafting, while Vince just wanted to give us more Roman coronations. Rod may be the cooler McMahon.... but he's also the better McMahon.

The name on the door will still say McMahon, but it'll be Paul Levesque-McMahon. Apart from that I don't see too much changing.

Triple H at least likes wrestling, so he gets a benefit of the doubt from me.

Are Hunter, Steph, or even Shane going to micromanage every single solitary portion of the show, down to the very last awkward pause in somebody's promo the way Vince does? Are they going to completely rewrite a show an hour before going on the air the way Vince does? Are they going to ruin people who get over when they aren't supposed to like Vince does? Are they going to spend the entire show yelling into the announcers headsets to get them to plug something for the tenth time, spout an innane buzz-word or verbally fellate someone that the crowd is supposed to love but don't the way Vince does?
If you can answer 'No' to even one of those questions, then my answer to this poll is 'Yes', any one of them will be better than Vince.

If HHH was in full creative control, it would definitely be better. But if you haven't realized, Stephanie has been the head writer for quite a while . She hasn't been the head writer in quite a while. She's been the Chief brand officer of WWE since 2013. She hasn't had a position in creative since then.

She hasn't been the head writer in quite a while. She's been the Chief brand officer of WWE since 2013. She hasn't had a position in creative since then. She still has say in the creative process, even if most of her job is "branding". HHH and her were running the shows when Vince was away. She still has backstage presence despite her title giving her a job more similar to Linda's old job that had more to do with the business side of the company. Also her years as part of and then head of the creative process(2002-2013), where the major part of decline. It still shows that she drove both Prichard and Paul Heyman out, mainly because they were better minds than her. She was the one who decided to go with "Hollywood writers" and get away from people from within the business. While her father has many qualities that drive us nuts, Stephanie takes them to new level(such as wrestling being a dirty word) and doesn't have as many of the great ones that made Vince such a success. She will always want to play it safe, as in PG and be much more worried about sponsors than the fans.

It hard to say what will happen if triple H takeover the WWE but it feel like he has a lot of great ideas and show that he love the business and wants to make it more international.
I don't see him firing ratface kevin dunn but I see dunn cashing in and leaving on his own

You joke, but Kane would probably be a good booking/creative mind to have. Dude knows the business.

I believe you mean Paul Levesque. I'm thinking he may drop Triple H altogether when becomes the Chair of WWE. Oh... but yeah. HHH obviously. I also wouldn't mind him bringing more of his friends in to help with the PC and booking. Seriously.

Would Hunter even want it? Wouldn't it be easier for him to continue his exact role now, but only with an added benefit that whatever he does with the talent in NXT, won't be completely mishandled or ruined by Vince?
