They should do an angle where Paul Heyman attempts to recruit her, and then insults her when she turns him down, followed by her ripping his arm out of the socket.

Ronda is a bigger star than anybody in WWE male or female, the women should be glad she wants to work with them as it immediately makes the division seem more important. I doubt their Rumble would have main evented had it not been for Ronda's appearance.
I would rather have seen her debut on Raw so Asuka could have her moment uninterrupted but if you're WWE of course you debut your big signing at your big event.

I will say that WWE signing Ronda Rousey definitely sends the message that they are All In with making the women's division more equal to the men's, as far as importance goes. Yeah, she might not be as big of a star as she was a couple of years ago, but she still is a NAME that the causal fans will recognize, and I will say that WWE will get at least a year of added interest (if they play their cards right) out of her before she becomes just another name on the roster.
As for the other women, it's kind of a trade off....yeah, it's most likely going to be a Brock situation, but upping the stakes is going to be kind of sink or swim proposition for the women they have now (and the future NXT call ups). Some are going to end up falling through the cracks, but some will end up looking better for being able to hang with the woman who was not that long ago looked at as being "the toughest woman on the planet."

Ronda not expected back until after February sometime. Filming in Columbia resumed. "Full time" Then they should've postponed her coming out in a too big jacket and pointing at the WrestleMania sign like a dork until then.

Not so much that she didn't give,up commitments. Just that there, will be a lack of follow up or build while its hot. She is a name and all that but she isn't bigger than wwe like ive seen. Not anymore. Everything after those loses has destroyed her publicly. Her movies are low rent b grade stuff. She isn't a star in the media. She diaappeared every time rumors about wwe slowed down. Id argue she needs them more than they need her. John Cena is a bigger star. And id wager if there is a mixed tag cena will be her partner.

I'm hoping the Sasha stuff is a work, they basically copied the 4 Horsewoman thing off her and like it or not, without Rousey putting WMMA in the mainstream, theres a good chance Sasha could have been fighting in 2 minute 8 woman tag on the preshow instead of main eventing a big 4 PPV.

This marks, what, the second time someone gave credit to something Charlotte did to someone else who copied it from Ric Flair? I mean, at least Sienna's complaints about the pinky and the peacock robe had some merit. The Horsemen are pretty much synonymous with Flair, and vice versa.

The future....I think WWE might be entering it own MMA fetish era that end up almost killing NJPW years ago.

No, WWE may have used WMMA and Ronda to have Steph go out there and cut a garbage promo, but what the women in NXT did was entirely on them. They were the ones who put in the work of putting on better matches and slowly building up toward something, and the creative direction in NXT at the time was 100% behind them. The NXT Women's Title had that name from its inception and hires like Sara Del Ray and the way that crop was trained speak to Triple H at least entertaining the idea of a direction change under his watch. They succeeded, got over on their own merits and not because of some Ronda hype wave, and that pushed the fans to start demanding more out of the main roster scene and pushing the "#GiveDivasAChance" thing that finally got the company listening. The Four Horsewomen and precursors like Paige would have still gotten over, the fans still would have become invested, and eventually WWE would have had to buckle, even if it was under the danger of headlines like "WWE at odds with fans over portrayal of female wrestlers" that would have been bad PR the company didn't want. And that's ignoring the fact that the Four Horsewomen thing was because they had Ric's daughter there. Take away the name and it all still happens. Don't confuse callous PR fluff and attention mongering for cause and effect. Ronda's not why Sasha is where she is right now.

True but NJPW still push MMA guys over their talent and don't forget stuff like Lesnar giving Orton a concussion and punching Braun over something. Rousey is going to be given the Lesnar treatment and I can see her acting like Lesnar if something doesn't goes her way and face no consequences either because of it.

My issues with Ronda have nothing to do with anything else other then her personal views on certain topics so yeah she can f*** right off. She's said too much derogatory bullshit for me to ever be a fan of hers again.

Ronda is a bigger star than anybody in WWE male or female She was at a point but I really fail to see what value she has now. She's basically turned into a joke in MMA circles and even if she hadn't, it's not like people into real fighting are going to decide to check out that faek stuff just because someone decided to switch to doing it, or at least not past an initial look of curiosity. And even if she does pop a buyrate or some ratings, it's not going to last. Lesnar's a great example of that, he basically stopped having any effect all on ratings within a few months and his buyrate boosts pretty much dried up with the conclusion of the Triple H feud.
