His run in the wwe could've been...wait for it...GLORIOUS. Now he's probably wrestling for minimum wage and the promoter is Alabama Doink. Pssst, he’s booked for various shows in the UK including ICW, arguably the biggest in the country. I know we have narratives to keep up with (like the really bizarre “How dare Storm take the money he was payed in full on time by TNA over a lesser NXT contract?!” one) but, you know, some of this stuff isn't that hard to find. I will also say this, in defense of James Storm: he had young children that he didn't want to be away from. I'm not going to slag anyone for putting their family first.

I can't believe some of you guys slag Storm for doing what was right for his family. This is continuously the most confounding thing I read anywhere on FAN.

Whoa. That hurts. They actually empowered an abuser. He confessed to almost killing that woman. I hope ICW goes bankrupt. Also, to top off that shit sundae, they paired him with a female wrestler. Just to, y'know, rub it in some more. Gross.

I can't believe some of you guys slag Storm for doing what was right for his family. This is continuously the most confounding thing I read anywhere on FAN. He jumped back to a fiscally insolvent company being sued by an aging rockstar in Florida, away from the guaranteed(if slightly smaller, short term) paycheck from a subsidiary of the top company in his profession.....which is based and mostly operates in Florida....so yeah....glad he got paid, but he rolled some dice for sure, for no real reason.

Luckily for Storm he was one of the few that got paid. I hope there's not a future report of an interview that states that James got f***ed in tna.

Besides, again, it being close to where his family was at the time and being paid a higher salary. Not like NXT which regularly tours all of Florida and also the country and not paying him as much. I don’t know how that doesn’t count as a real reason.

There's something I never got. How were they able to afford Storm's big salary when they didn't paid the production people and other wrestlers? I don't get how a company that had a tax lien put on it and that also was sued by Corgan for not being solvent still managed to pay a big salary?

Honestly I think a lot of the time the hatred toward TNA around here turns over from, "The people in charge of this company are incompetent and have done all kinds of shady shit," as it should be to acting like anyone who'd dare be associated with them is practically slaughtering puppies for a living. It gets genuinely uncomfortable.

Yeah, whenever I hear stories about checks bouncing and production staff not getting paid one minute, and then I hear about Christy Hemme and El Patron making bank, I tend to imagine a lot of "not my circus, not monkeys", as long as the check clears.

Right Also while Impact is having pay issues now it was reported when Storm left again that he essentially received all his money in full Idgaf if the dude said he was going to indies and make a little less instead of going to WWE, bottom line is he did what's best for him and his family and it ends at that

That's what I don't get. Production people don't get paid and it gets to the point that the Nazi twins intimidated them whenever they asked for their money, Zema Ion actually has to start a go fund me because he can't cover his medical bills and tna won't give him more money, Chris Daniels and Kaz had a stretch when they weren't paid in weeks, but James Storm gets taken cared of. Apparently, before he left, AJ asked for two hundred and fifty grand a year, we know what happened, Dixie lowballed him so he left, and this was when they were still in Spike TV and the situation overall was better. Rumor and innuendo said that Storm was able to get a big deal for going back to tna, just how can they afford that when theyre rotting away?

Simple, they gave them the money that was meant to go to other people.

Why not take that money and actually investing it in things that are gonna help the company? It's safe to say tna didn't raised back the money they gave to Storm.

Ditzy never gave a damn about drawing fans or solving problems. It was all a shiny toy for her and she thought would make her a star. It would not surprise me one bit she took money that was meant to go to production crew and others and gave who to whoever caught her interest at the moment Nordholm's the same way.

I hope Ed is not that way. Ditzy wasted and burned her parents money to the point they pretty much cut her off. Nordholm is not a rich man he's just an employee for Anthem. You're right Carter just wanted to become a tv star, thats why she paid for a crew to film her and do a reality tv pilot.

Apparently a while back he was told to either make a profit off it or their are getting rid of it
