It would have been better if he had a black friend endorsing him in that video. Does he have any left? Anyway, like with Hulkster's previous 423 comebacks, I don't care. I wonder if he has any actual friends at all. Virgil might show up for Hogan, even if he's not invited. If a one-time 10 minute appearance where he can do his usual schtick gets a Hollywood Hogan figure released, I'll take it. Otherwise, he really doesn't offer anything for a television audience. A live crowd will pop for his "watcha ya tallkin 'bout brother!" since most of the adults never got to see him live when you'd actually pay to see him only, but it makes for boring for TV. Booker T, The Rock, and George Foreman all defended him after the recorded rant was leaked.

I mean while we're piling up the piece of trash human beings that Hogan would be in good company with, the current Universal Champion is a noted homophobe.

I was pretty disappointed with what I heard, like all of us, by the way,” Johnson told reporters when asked by TheWrap. “I was really disappointed in him.” Booker T: “It’s 2015 and the N-word should be eradicated from the English language in my opinion,” Booker T, real name Booker Tio Huffman Jr., wrote on Twitter Friday. “I am shocked by the statements made by Hulk Hogan. It’s unfortunate, but that’s something that he’s going to have to deal with.”

Booker T has a shoot interview where he discussed his promo and even joked about it. We can only post links to interviews and not embed them still? Edit: Nevermind. You're right. I was thinking or remembering another interview regarding the situation.

Did he ever apologize for calling Hurricane Irma victims crybabies?
If not: f*** him.

I still like the Hulk Hogan character, but Terry Bollea is an asswipe. His last Wrestlemania appearance was a good enough sendoff for the character. Maybe let him do the occasional pop-up backstage cameo like DiBiase and Slaughter, but he doesn't need to be making regular, or even semi-regular, appearances anymore.

]There's another video excerpt from his interview where The Rock said "I've never known Hogan to be a racist." That’s not really defending him, though. Someone not knowing another person to be racist around them doesn’t mean they can’t be racist. Especially since he said on the tape that he’s, in fact, a racist.

I said this before. If other people with crimes on that level or worse are not only welcome but revered also, why no Hogan. Just look at the f***ing champ or the last BIG STAR signed. The "other people are bad" argument comes up in every Hogan thread but like. There's people who don't want shit to do with Brock over his "aggressively note down that I hate gay people" thing too. And people who don't mark out when Austin shows up. The difference is that all those stories aren't really part of the discussion because they're in, and at most it gets some comments in a thread, but it's never really the conversation. When it comes to Hogan coming back, his comments are the conversation.

Ok ok let's pretend that he didn't used the n word and he didn't said "I am a racist".
What the f*** is a 60 year old orange leathery creep who's obsessed with his daughter Brook's body, gonna bring to the wwe in his current decrepit state?
Y'all remember him before the tape was made public? How he f***ed up during promos and rambled on?
The only thing Hogan has to deliver in his ancient age is a nostalgia pop and ruining promos. He's not gonna wrestle he can't wrestle because his back is held together by paper clips and bubble gum, that ol walrus even thinks about taking a bump and his whole body would shatter and dust away.
The inmortal Hulk Hogan is a senior citizen. He should enjoy his retirement with the millions he got from the lawsuit just relaxing in the beach and enjoying his hobbies; like waterskiing, buying motorcycles, rubbing oil on his daughter's legs and lusting over her.

The guy can't even do his finisher, and moves like a slug. Hang it up, you old fool. It's over.

Its funny, i was just thinking the other day I want a 64 year old, washed up media whore to steal some of the lime light off of some of the younger guys that weren’t around when he gave a ten thousand pound Andre a Joker Driver in front of 20 million people.

I completely acknowledge Hogan has done all kinds of terrible things, but man, does pre-1990s pro wrestling ever put you in a weird place when you start taking away all of the garbage human beings.
The main reason I would want Hogan to come back is for things like his inclusion in the video games and having him present in documentaries.

Raw 25 saw a huge boost in ratings. Highest in 3 years. And it didn't even break 5 million, compared to the 6 million that Raw 1000 got. I mean sure you can take one part of my post very literally and ignore the rest of what I'm saying if you feel like it, but if WWE can't pull five million off of what they bill as an all star nostalgia revue anniversary show then there's not much value in trying to use Hogan to consistently bring about any real interest. The whole point of your post was that Raw 25 didn't bring in viewers but it did. That wasn't one part of the post that was essentially the whole thing. Now you're changing the goalposts by saying they didn't bring in enough people. I completely agree that WWE gains nothing from bringing Hogan in, I just don't think your reasoning is the best.

They should never mention or use him on tv again really, but when he passes (hopefully not for long time yet) , they should give him something of a tribute, after all his contribution to wrestling history can never be erased.

I’ll throw something else on top of it. She admitted to beating up an ex boyfriend in 2015. Wtf I had no idea about any of this good lord. Yeah, a lot of the Rousey arguments have focused on her dead star power and such, but it seems to get buried that she's also a completely shitty person, for some reason.

It was a shockingly minor story at the time from what I remember. Heck, the only way I remembered it because someone reminded me after the Rumble.

I find it troubling that a man can do so much good, visit all those sick kids and whatnot for decades and have it all undone by one shitty thing he said, in what was supposed to be a private situation. If he was a politician I would understand, but he's a retired sports entertainer who was upset about the guy his daughter was dating. I don't think his crimes are unforgivable.
I don't want him as an active part of the shows, but I'd like to see him in video games and doing some network stuff.

Now you're changing the goalposts by saying they didn't bring in enough people. I completely agree that WWE gains nothing from bringing Hogan in, I just don't think your reasoning is the best. Again, my point wasn't supposed to be that it pulled in zero interest or viewers, that wasn't supposed to be taken super literally. I'm not moving goalposts I'm clarifying what I meant: if one giant nostalgia bomb is bringing in over a million fewer people to check something out than last time with everyone they've got, and nostalgia is bringing in fewer and fewer people (ignoring how abysmal next week's rating with post-Rumble fallout and the Ronda thing was on top of the interest spike the week before) then the idea that one guy is going to be worth the money doesn't really hold up to me. All hands on deck for a Very Special Episode and the expectation of big things with those hands involved in the show can bring in a million people. Can one hand on deck with an insanely toxic public presence even bring 20k?
