But a transphobic Sandy Hook denier MMA fighter is about to waltz into a sweet Mania payday. Yoooooooooooo Did she really do this Article on it HERE!!EDIT I see this was already covered on the pages I didn't realize were there until after posting. Oops? As for the topic at hand - meh. I'll pop if his music hits, but afterwards, nothing of value would be added.

The only place I saw this mentioned this weekend........ either FB or Twitter ........was a headline mentioning "Hogan and a sober Flair" and I thought that was odd.
Considering what Hogan was talking about, I can see why someone'd mention that now.
"He wasn't drunk, folks, he really agreed with that!"

I find it troubling that a man can do so much good, visit all those sick kids and whatnot for decades and have it all undone by one shitty thing he said, in what was supposed to be a private situation. If he was a politician I would understand, but he's a retired sports entertainer who was upset about the guy his daughter was dating. I don't think his crimes are unforgivable. I don't want him as an active part of the shows, but I'd like to see him in video games and doing some network stuff. He's always been a terrible human being though. He used the death of murdered child Jamie Bulger to plug his CD when he was in the UK.

If people here want him as far away as possible from their tvs and never ever want to hear another new voice clip or see a new piece of footage he's in, he'd realistically have to probably die to meet those demands.
Oh but no that's too far, that's not right. Just vanish from all media, exile yourself to some desert island where there is no risk of him ever being on video again. Don't have him in video games, or documentaries or anything to do with media as a whole again.
Pretty much what some are asking for is for him to vanish from existence. Seems unreasonable.
No one here defends his comments, mindset or attitude. But I'd like him to return, at the least for fans to voice their vocal displeasure with chants and signs towards him. It might at least force him to change.

I don't want him as an active part of the shows, but I'd like to see him in video games and doing some network stuff. On top of that, I don’t recall any wrestlers who worked with Hogan previously, regardless of color, mention him being a racist. Politician, egomaniac, etc? Yes, but not a racist. There is a really weird vibe with these topics. I am a minority, and seeing (mostly) white people outraged by a man’s words, not his actions, really shows me that experience is lacking here. I’ve been racially discriminated against many times. I’ve had black/middle eastern/Asian friends who have been discriminated. The actions ALWAYS trumped the words. The words were almost meaningless in a way because you could dismiss them. The actions were unavoidable. In other words, if Hogan worked with black wrestlers so that they make main event money, and never outwardly discriminated against them, then are we really going to harp on this shit that was illegally taped in a private setting every time his name comes up? I mean, the man who runs the WWE is racist, and you want to harp on this? Someone once told me that white people telling us what to be outraged by is more offensive than the actual racism itself and I’m starting to see that. Hogan not being able to get a job because of this is weird to me, and like I said, I’m not even white and I’ll side with the minority on almost every issue because I’ve been there. What Austin did was 100 times worse than what Hogan said.

Yeah, a lot of the Rousey arguments have focused on her dead star power and such, but it seems to get buried that she's also a completely shitty person, for some reason. It was a shockingly minor story at the time from what I remember. Heck, the only way I remembered it because someone reminded me after the Rumble. The craziest part to me was Dana White straight up defending her. "She's got an opinion! Get over it, ya babies!" White will put Stipe Miocic on the shit list for asking for better pay but Rousey does that and he's leaping in to take the fire.

I don't care about Hogan being in WWE but blackballing him for being a dumb out of touch racist is rich coming from Vince McMahon

I may be in the minority but I don’t think the controversy defines Hogan. It’s unfortunate, but a lot of people turned on him once they smartened up and learned what backstage politics were.
He shouldn’t be given the Benoit treatment though

He shouldn’t be given the Benoit treatment though I agree. I do want to see one last Hogan appearance as a proper sendoff. I know that Wrestlemania appearance was his last appearance, but this was before all the controversy sullied his name.
