Now that I got this out of the way, I must confess something that's been kind of obvious on the forum; I absolutely hate the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Like, every movie is essentially the same damn thing (obnoxious humor, weak building, big and dumb finales, dead villain) to me, and it doesn't help that my hatred of Disney (which also fuels my disdain of the Star Wars Sequel Trilogy) only encourages this.
But... the one thing I dislike the most is that... It feels pretty lonely to know you hate the franchise, especially when you keep trying to like it. The internet is not a friendly place for minority opinions and it's only going to get worse from here on.

They are sort of like the Disney Parks. You know what you're getting, and you either buy into it or you don't.

I'm up and down on them. Like for instance I love Iron Man, the first Avengers, and the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, I hate Homecoming and Winter Soldier, I've had no desire to see Ant-Man or Doctor Strange, and I didn't really mind stuff like Civil War but could live with never seeing it again.

I feel the same about Breaking Bad, so I relate to an extent.
I treat stuff like this like a wasp. Ignore it and it ignores me.

I find myself disliking the Marvel movies more and more as time goes on, with exceptions here and there. So far, I believe all the Captain America movies have been outstanding, and very true to the character. Thor, on the other hand (who happens to be my favorite hero) has been treated piss poorly and mostly as a joke character. Thor is sort of like Wonder Woman in attitude: "I shall smite thee with might Mjolnir, villain, and send thee back to hell where thou belongs!" That's traditionally how he speaks. Instead, Chris Hemsworth has turned him into an obnoxious stupid chucklehead, and Tom Hiddleston's Loki constantly steals the show over and over again.
The first Iron Man was terrific, but the sequels were horrible. Dr. Strange was great, and Ant Man wasn't bad, but wasn't very good either. Age of Ultron was really stupid and kind of pointless, Spider-Man Homecoming was...alright...I guess, but it had it's share of obnoxious moments. I find whenever I'm rooting for the villain, it's a sign I've outgrown the franchise...and I was rooting for the Vulture during all of Homecoming.
I actually really enjoyed the Incredible Hulk, and saw potential, but when they replaced Norton, and changed the Hulk's look and design, I lost all interest. The two Guardians movies have been very good, so no complaints there.
Because of all the bullshit controversy surrounding Black Panther, I didn't bother going to see it. I've been told it's the greatest movie ever created in the bastions of time...but I have a feeling, once the hype dies down, and people get over all the race shit, it's going to turn out to be a rather bland movie.

Ive lost most interest in them now as well. It started with an oversaturation. Of them and then a decline in quality, and the serial nature of the endings. Being just enough climax to satisfy plot conclusion but continuous lead in for the next one. It never stops. Watch the next one and the next one. I havent seen Thor yet, Black Panthers out and Avengers go pushed up to next month.
Dr strange was honestly terrible and u, Unsatisfying if every way. Ant man was just ok. Guardians was still fun but over all not great.

I enjoy most of it in a similar way I enjoy soda and its empty calories and amount of sugar.
The hype from the fanbase does get overwhelming everytime one of the films come out. Maybe a personal problem because I'm friends with a lot of nerds/Disney people, but I try to just block it out. The hype never meets my expectations. Like GOTG2 and Homecoming, where I found the former "bad" and the latter "alright" when most of my timeline is exclamations in CAPS and "!!!!!!!!!!!!!"'s. it's why I'm very reserved, albeit still wanting to watch, Black Panther.
I do kinda miss the the pre-MCU days when comic book movies weren't so oversaturated and I say that as a 90s kid that was starving for them.

Yeah. They’re all kind of okay. I’ve started just waiting for them to come to Netflix. I don’t feel like I’m missing anything.

Eh, if you hate it, you hate it. Internet culture has given a false impression that if you dislike something popular, you're a contrarian, a troll, or someone trying too hard to be different, but it really is okay to not like things.
But on-topic, I love the MCU, aside from maybe The Incredible Hulk.

They're getting worse. Dr. Strange was boring, GOTG Vol. 2 had a bland 1st half (though I loved the 2nd half), and Homecoming was far and away the worst of the entire MCU with MJ surpassing Jar-Jar Binks in being an annoying waste of oxygen and needing to be shot dead on screen yesterday.

Some people like Marvel, some people don't. That's okay. I never really watched the movies, until I started seeing my bf. Now, I enjoy them, because I get to be with him, and the storylines can be fun

Personally think the vast majority of the movies, particularly the ones released in the last couple years, have been excellent and the universe building has been one of the great cinematic achievements of all time.
Now, the way it’s encouraged every studio to try the same thing with vaguely related characters..... not so great.

Great, enjoy. Personally, I think they are perfect go home happy movies. Cool effects, fun ride, general entertainment. You know what you are getting into when you go to them, and they don't rely on crappy humor or weird jingoistic or machismo bs like Bay or Fast and Furious movies.
But if you would like to grumble, enjoy. I think there are many more deserving cinematic subjects for ire, but to each their own.

"All the race shit" is a very, very big deal that you clearly either don't understand or don't value the way other people do. And I didn't love the movie. You can find one of my posts here where I called it disappointing. But other people love it for reasons I don't.

They are sort of like the Disney Parks. You know what you're getting, and you either buy into it or you don't. Exactly this. If you are going to complain about the same old shit then you haven't been paying attention to the formula. You know what you're getting so it's really a matter of whether you're into it or not It's fine if you are one of those people who aren't into it and you really don't need some big story about how you're the only person who doesn't like it. Everyone has different taste so I don't think it should be some badge of honor you aren't "joining with the masses" nor should the people who enjoy the movies try to force it on you.

I got burned out on the MCU(and superheroes in general) after Age of Ultron and BvS disappointed. So much that I didn't watch another superhero film in theaters until Black Panther. Throughout that time, I'd watch something eventually, if it interested me, but I don't feel obligated to keep up with the MCU. You shouldn't either. You're just creating your own misery at this point.
