Somehow, Aliyah is still employed. And why do some guys on this site have so many problems with women? Every thread about a woman has to be turned into a topic about her looks. Aliyah could be valuable for the Middle Eastern market, plus she's getting a good run on house shows now. Also, never heard of any issues with her RE attitude, plus as someone young, coming up through the PC probably a little cheaper than someone who has a name from the indies, but that's probably minuscule.

I'm surprised there aren't more names being cut loose, they can't keep signing talent and retaining them forever. Even with the 'developmental doesn't need to be profitable' mindset, they keep in holding tryouts and signing people, which can't go on forever.

She probably has Sarah Logan's spot on Smackdown if she could have just behaved herself.
The amount of people they keep signing is why there are never ending rumors of expanded shows and new shows, they don't have enough tv time for everyone.

Not to feed the flames there, but she DID blow up really quick, really young. It wouldn't be a HUGE leap to assume that that probably inflated her ego quite a bit. Well, that would also likely be a big problem if she thinks the indy success would come back, since Quackenbush is friendly with HHH and the PC (and would likely know what went on to get her fired.) Doubled since I'm hearing more whispers are coming out that Laith may have failed Wellness tests while she was there (and it'd be an example of the bubbling under "WWE doesn't announce Wellness violations for NXT/the Performance Center"). The squared circle sirens dude said he never heard anything about wellness violations just she showed up late a few times. They are also in the process of signing 2 women to replace the ones they fired...

The problem I and I think some others have with Aliyah is the fact that she said racist shit on social media that was dug up: F and N-word warning www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2015/0909/600475/wwe-nxt-diva-deletes-her-twitter-account-after-racial-posts/Now, I know teenagers say the damndest things, but she was 17, and that's pretty f***ing bad shit to say. I think the problem I have with it the most is the fact that she and WWE laughed it off with the classic Kurt Angle "my twitter wuz hacked lol": m.tmz.com/#2015/09/10/wwe-diva-jasmin-racist-tweets-not-fired-n-word/Like, if you were legitimately hacked, you think you'd f***ing delete that shit ASAP. Not leave it for 3+ years and THEN react when people call you out. That also doesn't explain the casual racism implied in the Instagram post on the first link. Aliyah/Jasmin/Nooph did not apologize or get punished (edit-that we know of), which I personally believe is bullshit.

It's a shame if she had an attitude problem because her entire gimmick that got over in CHIKARA was being a role model to girls and handing out her Tiara to them to keep it safe like a Bret Hart. She's a great worker and on the Indies it seemed like everyone had nothing but good things to say about her, so this possibly being her end in WWE is sad, but I can't say she didnt help herself in the long run. More than likely she'll be back in CHIKARA and get higher range bookings. Could be anything honestly. I know a lot of wrestlers that ended up having attitude issues in developmental just didn't like the set up. While he didn't have attitude issues in NXT, Sami Callihan mentioned that in his first 9 months with the company he had 8 total matches and it drove him insane where his life was just working out at the PC and he missed his familiy and friends in the Midwest and Northeast. Maybe that played a factor in Abbey having attitude issues (hey boyfriend looks to be joining Dragon Gate on a consistent basis and lives in Ohio so they don't see each other). Or like the rumors said, maybe she just ended up getting a big ego from her CHIKARA run. Remember CHIKARA regulars are not known to be the easiest tow rok with.

WWE did look into it, and didn't find anything wrong with her involvement (believe somebody else was using her account) - they'd have canned her if she did do all that.

Hey WWE sign Nicole Matthews and Madison Eagles 🦅 At this point who knows who they are trying to sign. Well, they probably have to fill the roster with some Americans since they’re probably not going to get any of Viper, Storm or KLR until the end of the year at the earliest with Visa stuff.

If they ever do get a all women’s show I’d love for them to sign Portia Perez and Veda Scott for commentary. Not just because their women but because I legitimately love hearing on the mic.

I think WWE was at this point sick of the "Look through several years of a female wrestler's twitter when she gets hired to see if she said something that can get her fired" thing and actually started telling people to knock it off.

Kimber's already got a couple of bookings - April 13th with AAW in the Chicago area, and April 28th with Beyond Wrestling in Philadelphia.
EDIT: And more... Pancakes & Piledrivers on April 7th (three way with Jessicka Havok and Meiko Satomura), and SHIMMER on the 7th, then 14th-15th in Berwyn.
