I've watched one RAW in three years (The horrendous RAW 25) before tonight.
I had heard Coach was bad, but he set a new announcing low for me tonight.
I lost it when he said that the crowd chanting "He's got the whole world, in his hands" was a soccer chant.

“This will be the greatest card since WrestleMania last night.”
While it’s almost certainly factually correct, nobody ever actually says that out loud.

Once again, WHY THE F*** DOES ANYONE NOT WATCH THE SHOW ON MUTE?!
I get there's promos and stuff that people want to hear, but the f***ing commentary has been an atrocity for the longest time!

The announcing has been terrible for years, Coach really does suck though. At least when Booker was incoherent, it was funny and the delivery had some passion.

Honestly as bad as Coach is I think Graves might be even worse. Coach is absolutely terrible but mostly in just sounding like an idiot who has no clue what's going on, Graves just shits all over seemingly everything. Then there's Cole who at this point is seemingly incapable of making a single sentence sound like it came out of an actual human being.

The worst part is that Graves was just as bad as him tonight.

I gave Coach the benefit of the doubt because he had been away a while and because I found Booker annoying as well, but he hasn't improved at all. He's regressed. It's really awkward to hear. And it's already awkward and lame with Cole out there.

Quit being sheep and simply enjoy commentary's hard work and passion for the product.

I do like Philips on Smackdown, I thought he did great at Mania.
I also really enjoyed Byron leading JR and King on the pre-show.

The worst part is that Graves was just as bad as him tonight. The highlight of commentary tonight was when Michael Cole was dying during the Authors of Pain debut.

No, he isn't. But commentary is terrible. King and JR were terrible because they shit all over everyone in the ring at Mania. And the Raw team is terrible because they just try to undermine each other, rather than trying to get the talent over. They are missing calls because they're too busy bickering and trying to make each other look like fools. I know JR has been cranky lately (I used to listen to his podcast like 3 years ago), but god damn was he super cranky during the battle royal.

nah. Corey Graves is Cole Jr. at this point in being the "super argumentative always have to be right" announcer.
Coach isn't even the 3rd worst announcer then have. He's maybe like 6th or 7th.
It's hard to succeed when you have Cole and Cole Jr. just waiting to undermine you and bicker or yell at you to shut up to make themselves look good. Which in and of itself is an oxymoron.
I really really wish Vince wasn't in their ear and let them just call matches naturally.
And this is coming from someone who used to LOVE Corey Graves on commentary and would actively defend him. Vince got him and ruined him like he does anything he touches.
Reverse Midas touch y'all.

Graves is just as bad. He must argue about every little thing and get himself over
Coach clearly hasn’t kept up with the product as he said some stupid incorrect shit that he only needed to actually do research on to show he was wrong
Cole......he can’t even say straight sentences anymore

When describing the undertaker showing up at WrestleMania he said “the crowd was in disbelief, as if they couldn’t believe what they were seeing”. This man gets paid to talk for a living.

nobody ever actually says that out loud. I heard a few duds from Coach over the last few weeks, and he's doing something I would've thought Vince would be screaming in his ear to stop doing: He's admitting he doesn't know the product (at all or like he used to) on a live mic. There's an honesty there, which is admirable in theory, but when it makes you seem very out of touch with your primary job - which I believe this is, now that ESPN dumped him - it's not going to make you look good or the product look good. That's bad. And while we can easily blame him, we must also blame Vince and Co., who have been known to control their announcers thru the headsets.

Probably just mad because he wasn't getting the big "main show" bucks, if . Personally I'm more than done with the guy after Strong Style Evolved and the disrespect he showed for over 3 hours to talent he didn't know (even going as far as apologizing for mispronouncing names like Scurll as "Shurl" on air while still not pronouncing it correctly). He had zero excuse to do the same thing with the WWE talent, a company he worked decades for. It's disappointing that he's just gotten even meaner and more bitter as the years ago by (some of this can likely be attributed to losing his wife the way he did, but then he has no business performing if he can't at least put half the effort in that he used to.

Random thought and completely off topic, but Art Donovan doing commentary for the Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss match would've been awesome.
"How much does that big girl weigh? She's a lot bigger than that other girl. The little blonde there, she doesn't look like she'd be much of a fighter, that's not a fair fight!"
