Ugh. Theres few things worse than steak snobs. "WHY DA f*** WOULD CHA EVEN GET ONE IF ITS NOT HOW I LIKE IT!?". Truth. It's my money and my steak so I'll have it the way I want it. The idea of people potentially giving me a $5 steak if I pay $35 due to preference ensures I don't order steak. However, economics dictate home usage, so I use steak cuts that don't matter if you properly cook it well done (which involves some sizzle and lots of roasting).

Same. Barely introduced to heat is my preference. Basically slapping the cow's arse is the way to go! Tell it a scary story about fire. Hold it over a picture of a match. Still twitching (then stab it with a fork making "Moo!" noises). I have answered this question with "cooked?"

My parents had a friend who loved his steak beyond well done. Cremated is probably the correct term.

I had a relative who would order his steak "Medium Burnt" I know we were at the lake, my mom and his wife left to make supper. They threw his steak on. We came back about an hour later. He felt his was still undercooked.

Usually medium, but if it's a bit rare in the middle I'm not as squeamish as I used to be.

I normally only have steak in pubs and they always overcook them, so I order rare so I get a medium rare.
At home, my missus cooks it 90 seconds each side and that's perfect.

Rare. I like it kind of cooked but I like to have some blood with my steak.
