Anybody else see the movie in D-Box seats? I got used to the rumbling after a while, but it felt pretty good when Thor does his run in, and shakes the whole ground.

People forget before IM (2008) came out, the mainstream saw him as a C-list Superhero. He's now on the same level if not more popular than Spider-Man. Marvel has only been pushing Captain Marvel hard the last few years, and by the time the movie comes out she'll be more popular than most heroes, DC, Marvel, females and males alike. Tony's popular, but he's not more popular than Spidey. I'd also say that Steve is more popular than Tony. Steve is a good example. He was seen as the clean cut boyscout, who's lame and not cool. Now, thanks to the MCU, people are actually seeing that he kicks major ass. And they're showing that audiences will still embrace that character. Except the Inhumans. God, did Ike Perlmutter take an L on that one. Inhumans was never going to work. Marvel's been trying this massive push for years, and the public sees them as a last ditch lame substitute for The X-Men.

This is especially funny since it's basically Disney congratulating themselves.

For Chrissakes, Rey, this is the second time you're offering up a lightsaber with the dangerous end pointing at someone.
You could've offed both Luke and Stark, now. Lightsaber discipline, please!

Not sure if this was mentioned but Joe Russo said Tom Holland improvised that last scene

Here's a non-controversial topic: Where the hell did Wanda's accent go? They can't even say she lost it over time because she was living in Scotland with a dude whose accent is British. So for her to suddenly just sound American was jarring. Could it be a "Halle Berry in X-Men" situation? Remember the horrible attempt at an African accent she did in the first X-Men movie? And how they had her completely drop it for every other film? Yeah. That.

That’s because Evans and his writers/directors take Cap seriously, and don’t allow him to be just a corny symbol of jingoism. Feige and company are setting new benchmarks for humanizing these characters for audiences outside the comic book bubble.

Not sure if this was mentioned but Joe Russo said Tom Holland improvised that last scene He may not be able to keep a secret, like, at ALL, but damn if he doesn’t know how to just punch the audience in the collective gut. In my theater, the only disintegration that got a bigger shocked reaction was T’Challa.

Not sure if this was mentioned but Joe Russo said Tom Holland improvised that last scene It reminded me a lot of Fred's death scene in Angel, with her last words being "Wesley, why can't I stay?" I don't particularly care for Spider-Man as a character, but I gotta hand it to him, the kid can act.

Now knowing that it was improvised, I think it was a shout out to Doctor Who. “I don’t want to go” was the last thing the 10th Doctor (played by David Tennant) said before he regenerated

This is especially funny since it's basically Disney congratulating themselves. It’s two satellites in orbit around one star. Disney owns, but are still somewhat independent. Think of it as two coworkers congratulating each other when one of them gets promoted.

Yeah, this isn't just The Mouse* talking to himself They're still different studios with seperate creative approaches. (FTR, I hate using that term for Disney, "The Mouse". I think of Mickey more of as a character than a mascot.)

It would've been more dramatic if he hadn't said, "Mother F-" before disintegrating. But yeah I think the ones that hit me the worst top to bottom: Spidey T'Challa Groot Wanda (Even though she seemed content with death) Bucky Dr. Strange Falcon Mantis The rest really didn't hit me as hard. Star Lord was kind of a "whoa," and so was Drax.

Chris Pratt doesn't get enough love for his acting chops.

The only deaths that hit me were Loki (Especially) and maybe Gamora and Spider-Man. People turning to ash didn’t really affect me.

I was actually conflicted with Thanos' plan. I was like, "You know, he has a point, albeit in an insane sort of way. Overpopulation is a major problem."
And then when he sat down and smiled at the end, inside I was like, "YOU MOTHERF***ER!!!! YOU DON'T GET TO SMILE!!! YOU WIPED OUT HALF THE UNIVERSE!!!!"

Loki, Gamora, Quill, Strange, and T'Challa hit me hard.
I also almost lost it at Tony getting stabbed and almost dying.
I straight up cried when Peter died in Tony's arms.
I'm also intrigued with who survived and who didn't. Nebula and Tony is gonna be interesting to see interact.
