I was actually conflicted with Thanos' plan. I was like, "You know, he has a point, albeit in an insane sort of way. Overpopulation is a major problem." And then when he sat down and smiled at the end, inside I was like, "YOU MOTHERF***ER!!!! YOU DON'T GET TO SMILE!!! YOU WIPED OUT HALF THE UNIVERSE!!!!" Dude was relaxing! He just defeated earths mightiest heroes and set the universe right!! Sheesh, no respect.

Sit down and watch the "beautiful sunset" with a smile. It's a shame he didn't have a cup of joe. Reclining chair. A cigarette and a boom box playing his favorite tunes. Which I happen to know are "Sugar ray" songs.

Yea more than likely you will see the retirements and deaths of the original team Cap more than likely bites the dust while someone like Tony probably will get heavily injured and retire Banner and Natasha probably run off and do their own thing too Hawkeye is another who people got the death flag on but they could do something like have him lose an arm ala Green Arrow I honestly hope nothing happens to Clint because the fact that he has a family makes me reeeeeally wary of him getting involved with all this. I would be heartbroken to see Tony or Steve bite it, but this would be so much worse to me. I honestly expected Clint to appear in Ant-Man. Both men got their families to deal with and Clint hasn't had much of any role in any other film besides the Avengers and Civil War. Dude needs airtime. Why not team up with Ant Man and Wasp?

The only deaths that hit me were Loki (Especially) and maybe Gamora and Spider-Man. People turning to ash didn’t really affect me. He did exactly what he said he was going to do when he talked to Doctor Strange I mean all babyfaces complete their promises right ?

Heimdall, Loki, Gamora and Vision's deaths are bumming me out a bit more, since it feels like there's more finality there. I guess any of them could come back, but it did feel like we had reached the end of their respective arcs. It was pretty brutal how Thanos uses the love between siblings (torture of Thor and Nebula) to make people do what he wants. The dissection of Nebula in particular might be the most cruel thing we've seen in the MCU.
Also super sad that Rocket is the sole survivor of the Guardians of the Galaxy. I was half-expecting him to whimper "not again!" as Groot faded away.

I think their is a chance that Gamora can come back but I wouldn't mind if they kept her off since that would change the GOTG in a major way. Heimdall and Loki seem permanent tho. Loki arc seems to have come complete after they teased it in Ragnarok and Thor losing Heimdall and seemingly rest of his people is something that would effect him moving forward as Chris Hemsworth did a perfect of showing the emotions of a man who wants to be strong but in his moment of reflection with Groot he has sadness in his eyes after watching his father die, Loki, Heimdall, Asgardians and Asgard itself be destroyed.

Vision's only hope, outside of mass time reversal, would be for Shuri to have finagled some kind of backup of his personality in that last rush when they were breaking in to her lab.

I think that's exactly what we're getting, Shuri put in too much work to have failed, and she's awesome. She just lost her brother and half her kingdom, so I think she'll need a victory to start the next movie. More than likely it'll be a more "pure" version of Vis, like when he showed up in the comics in an all white form. Except he'll have no memory or love of Wanda without the mind stone (while I predict he'll get back by A4's end.)

There’s rumored time travel in the next one yes? They could always bring back the Loki from the time of the first Avengers movie to the current time. He wouldn’t be the same Loki or have turned to the side of good, but that’s a way of getting Loki back without reversing the death.

I think it's more of a time skip than time travel And in regards to that idea nah. Loki should be "dead" for a while. His whole gimmick is he escapes death so there's a chance he could come back in the future some way but for now his character arc is done and considering he was a major part to start this whole process it's fitting he dies when the current run of Avengers is about to end

She made sure to take the flash drive when they got attacked. Now the questions will be where the hell she is able to work from assuming Wakanda isn't fully wrecked It will be interesting how they figure out the whole time skip idea of it. I'm assuming they would skip ahead in time to give some sort of consequences of how the Earth is with a lot of its heroes dead and then I guess they can have someone go back in time to stop this from happening

I love how all the trailers and TV spots show everyone charging into battle through trees with Hulk alongside them....a thing that never happens in the movie and was never planned to happen.
As for the deaths, Vision is like Red Tornado, he dies every other week in the comics.

This is such a hard film to judge. It felt, and maybe that was the intent, that I was watching half a movie. I didn't feel anything for the deaths b/c it's probably going to be retconned. Spidey has a sequel coming next year, so just knowing that ruins the shock factor for me. There isn't a death as of now that has that "oh shit" factor for me.

No way Tachalla stays dead especially after the success of Black Panther

Just under 3/4 of a billion dollars made Fox may regret opening Deadpool 2 so close to IW.
