If the theory about Avengers 4 is accurate {Spoiler}we could see a role reversal, with Thanos trying to stop the Avengers from collecting stones from other times/dimensions to power their own Gauntlet, with the twist that his own is too busted to do another, more specific, snap and he cannot use the Time Stone to fix it as it would undo the original snap.

Depending on who you ask, the Thanos theory is complete. Here's the breakdown.
T = Tesseract = Space Stone H = Hydra = Soul Stone A = Aether = Reality Stone N = Necklas = Time Stone O = Orb = Power Stone S = Scepter = Mind Stone

Hydra didn't have the Soul Stone. Red Skull was there but he A. Wasn't part of Hydra at that point any more... and B. pretty explicitly states he doesn't have it and can't get it.
and again calling the Eye of Agamotto a Necklace is really reaching.
This is just people trying to force a theory to be correct even though it doesn't work, like the James Bond is a code name theory.

A couple questions that may have been answered pages ago but
1. Why is Scarlet Johansson Blond? 2. Didn’t Scarlet witch have a East European accent? 3. While waiting during the credits there was a small line about “Characters from Arrested Devlopment owned by 20th century fox”. I’m like “huh? What arrested Development character?” 4. When did vision and Scarlet witch start bumping uglies?

She had it lesser in Civil War and probably learned to hide it while in hiding with Natasha 3. Tobias was in a split second in the collector's area {Spoiler} 4. In Civil War.

When did vision and Scarlet witch start bumping uglies? 1. She's had a different hairstyle in every appearance, but in-universe it's most likely because she's one of the most wanted criminals in the world and her red hair is a dead giveaway. Probably the same reason why Cap grew a beard. 2. And it was kinda awful. Quietly dropped. 3. The Collector had a blue Tobias in his display. 4. It was set up in Civil War that there was an attraction between them, and they had kids in the comics, so it made sense to put them together and add a ton of drama to Vision's death.

Just got back from the theater. Glad to finally have context for the disintegration meme that's been ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA THE PAST WEEK.
I enjoyed it overall. The ending would've hit much harder if not for the aforementioned meme, and also because I'm pretty sure it's gonna' get undone in the sequel. The movie also really, really felt its length. Aside from those issues though, it was fun. Laughed a lot more than I thought I would.

In terms of the laughing part, I really, really wish Marvel would stop with the cheesy laugh lines. I think it might be the main thing that would hold this back from being "OMG best movie ever!" level stuff. It's hard to take the end of the universe seriously when a moron like Quill is blathering about Footloose and Kevin Bacon. In fact the more I think about it the more this film did Star Lord zero favors. Not only did he cost Stark, Strange, etc. a chance to defeat Thanos but his whole shtick is just B movie schlock. I figured the Guardians would look like total B list jabronis compared to the actual Avengers, but the film mostly skirts around it. Rocket and Groot mostly were Thor's wacky sidekicks here (which worked fine), Gamora mostly did the Thanos subplot (some of the best stuff in the film), and Drax and Mantis largely deferred to Stark and Strange when they were on screen together. It was only Star Lord that acted like he was somehow on the same level as the actual serious heroes, and it mostly exposed him for the B list Han Solo/Flash Gordon goof that he is. Peter Quill is the role Ryan Reynolds was probably born to play but for whatever reason didn't, but would anyone seriously want to see Deadpool's silliness in the midst of Infinity War? It's one thing to be a 4th wall shattering, pop culture obsessed nut when you're fighting a corny bad guy like Francis, but it doesn't really work with a universal wide threat like Thanos.

The footloose bit was brought up by Spider-man and Drax not Quill. That said his bravado and jokes have been well established as how he deals with stress by this point. He also reacted like a person to finding out the dude in front of him just killed someone close to him. Anger is a natural response to grief. Also I am 100% positive that Strange knew that to beat Thanos they had to lose first.

The real big question is, what other kind of Avenger Flavors did Ben & Jerry make?

One would think Strange literally stating that "this was the only way" once Thanos snapped away half the universe would make it clear that they needed to let the purple prune to have all the Infinity Stones so that the one scenario where they win can unfold.

I mean...even if they took out the jokes, it's not like we'd be saying "Get lost, The Apartment! Hit the bricks, Late Spring! Infinity War just snatched your ass!". The MCU are by and large VERY well-made blockbuster spectacles but anyone saying one of them is the best movie they've ever seen should probably expand their palette a bit more. Took a look at the box office. Made about the same as Black Panther's second weekend, well below The Force Awakens (to be fair, TFA's second and third weekends both fell on holidays). I was thinking this would grab the opening weekend title, but not have the staying power of those two, looking like that might be the case, especially with way more competition coming its way this month.

I kind of suspect the one scenario he saw in the future where they win is one where Stark doesn't die, hence why he gave up his stone to stave Tony.

Also I am 100% positive that Strange knew that to beat Thanos they had to lose first. I really want to think that the Russo brothers foreshadowed this toward the end of the Civil War airport battle when Hawkeye or Falcon said something along the lines of "In order for us to win, some of us have to lose."

I, for one, would love to see an Ozu-inspired superhero comic book movie.

It only hit me last night that there was a plot hole about Thanos technically having the Mind Stone before the first Avengers film before giving it to Loki. The writers had to address this in interviews this week. They're saying that Loki was unaware he even had the Mind Stone and Thanos was trying to be incognito about his plans at the time.
So, yeah.
