So who would you say are the 4 wrestlers that belong on a WWE Mount Rushmore for each decade starting with the 1980s?
My list:
1980s: Hogan, Savage, Andre, Piper
1990s: Austin, Taker, Bret, Rock
2000s: Cena, HHH, Batista, Angle
2010s: Cena, Bryan, Punk, Orton

in the 1980s I would replace Piper with Backlund. Love him or not, Backlund was World Champion for almost 6 years and drew well at Madison Square Garden.

Funny how people think 80s wwf they forget about the early 80s as well lol. But yeah I think this is a pretty accurate list, maybe replace orton with Brock for the 2010s

90s: Austin, Taker, HBK, Rock (I wanted to put Bret, but Rock being Rock and all)

in the 1980s I would replace Piper with Backlund. Love him or not, Backlund was World Champion for almost 6 years and drew well at Madison Square Garden. But Backlund was only champion for 3 years of the 80's, and they weren't exactly the best, business-wise. Piper carried a huge feud into the first Starrcade, then moved over to the WWF and headlined the two MTV cards and the first Wrestlemania. He become a household name as a heel. He was the main villain during the Rock n Wrestling era, was part of a main event feud with Snuka, then was a key cog for WM3, the biggest show in history to that point. Piper's Pit was groundbreaking, setting up a decade worth of "interview shows" on wrestling TV. He took a hiatus, but came back strong in 1989 with the Morton Downey WM interview. I'd say Piper has to be on the 1980s Mt. Rushmore.

90s: Austin, Taker, HBK, Rock (I wanted to put Bret, but Rock being Rock and all) I think Bret was bigger than HBK, he was pretty much Top dog from 94-97, and he even mainevented mania 9, before his big crowning the next year

Mine:
1980s: Hogan, Andre, Piper, Heenan
1990s: Undertaker, HBK, Austin, Rock (feels like Savage should be on one of these 80s or 90s, but...)
2000s: HHH, Angle, Edge, Cena
2010s: Orton, Cena, Bryan

I dont like Reigns, but not having him in the 2010s is weird. He Main Evented the last 4 Manias...
1980s: Hogan, Piper, Savage, Snuka
1990s: Austin, Rock, Hart, Michaels
2000s: HHH, Cena, Undertaker, Batista
2010s: Cena, Punk, Reigns, Lesnar
I don´t like 50% of these guys

I'd say Piper has to be on the 1980s Mt. Rushmore. I would agree that he got stale in 1983, but in 1982 he had 2 epic trilogies : Jimmy Snuka and Superstar Billy Graham. According to thehistoryofwwe.com those matches did great business at MSG.

It's tough to pick, but over the last 30+ years...the Mt. Rushmore has to be Vince, Flair, Hogan, and Austin.

It is tough because a lot of guys span more than one decade but here is a bash at it:
80s. Andre Hogan. Piper. Savage
90s. Warrior Bret. HBK. Austin
2000s. Triple H. Rock Cena. Undertaker
2010s. Punk. Bryan. Styles Lesnar
Also should be on: Edge, Foley, Angle, Jericho, the Shield to name a few - sure have forgot loads

80's- Hogan, Heanan, Savage, Piper 90's- Michaels, Hart, Hogan, Austin 90s was tough cause 2-6(UW,Rock) is splitting hairs after # Austin 2000's- Rock, Cena, Batista, HHH 2010's- Punk, Bryan, Cena,Lesnar Toss up btwn The Big Dog and Beast and really 2-5 is all pretty close and Orton is a distance 6th as I think 00 Orton was more popular

No way Punk belongs for the 2010s. Just wasn’t around for enough of it and he was still second fiddle to Cena during his long title reign.

'80s - Hogan, Andre, Flair, Lawler/Dusty (couldn't decide) '90s - Austin, Rock, Sting, Goldberg '00s - Undertaker, Cena, HHH, Angle '10s - Punk, Bryan, Styles, Lesnar
I would argue that Punk makes it on there just for the sake of making a big enough splash to usher in an era where being a top indy name is a valuable asset to a WWE career.
