twitter.com/Na_nou83/status/996854209734684672 (linked due to footage being from non-WWE source) Ronda Rousey appeared at today's house show in Geneva, Switzerland. Originally, she was supposed to wrestle Mickie James, but instead, it was Rousey, Ember Moon, and Natalya vs. Mickie, Ruby Riott, and Liv Morgan. Rousey made Mickie submit to the armbar for the win.

That hip toss was a thing of beauty. I would hope that she would be good at a Judo throw....

I love how fast her stuff looks. That firemans carry thing looked so cool. Once she gets more experience and moves beyond the overly pre-planned and practiced looking spots I'm convinced she'll be awesome.

I love what we’ve seen of Ronda in-ring this far. Nobody else in the company moves around the ring like she does. It really stands out.

A lot of shit she does looks crisp and smooth as silk. She still has some clunky spots but I mean she's learning.
I still think shes getting too hard a push too fast because of her name but she can in fact work as Mania showed, and could be even better down the road.

I think just with what she's shown this early on, she could be another Kurt Angle or Chad Gable, who just immediately takes to it like a fish to water.

I like her offense, it's crisp and she snaps the moves off pretty well, the true test will be when she is in singles competition.

If she looks good and safe, that is great. I was afraid she would be an untrained clunky mess.
I still will always be bitter they had to nerf Asuka for the sake of her.

I am so pleasantly surprised that Ronda is not only doing well in these limited outings, but she's actually NAILING IT out there.

No lie, those may be the best corner punches I've seen since Vader.
I've been eyerolling hard at every step of her booking, but she seems enough of a natural in the ring that she's going to be a star in spite of the shitty writing.

I'm a big fan, I was excited to see her sign, based on her background and the words of others I thought there was a chance she'd be a natural... then the buildup to WrestleMania was so bad. So so bad. I lost faith, and thought she didn't have "it" at all.
Then the WrestleMania match happened, and Me doubts were proved dead wrong. And now she's in actual matches doing what she needs to and looking good doing it.
Im happy for her. She can be a huge star in this world as well.

I just get nervous that she's being thrown in a title match against Nia so soon. Nia is not going to be a small/nimble as Mickie James and her UNBELIEVABLE selling so she won't be able to put Ronda over as much if there is a title change-- or if Nia just wants to sell a scrappy challenger to her throne.
Nia isn't as green as Ronda by any stretch, but Nia does like her rest holds in-between spots and is a bigger girl, so her offense is not gonna be flashy just normal moves (that have a bigger impact) which means it puts the most pressure on the Challenger Rousey to sell Jax's offense like she has to overcome a huge disadvantage. Is Ronda ready for this type of wrestling nuance yet, and with Nia Jax being a new champ is she ready for her side of the equation as well?
I keep thinking that since it's at the MITB ppv, the Women's winner will cash-in before the match starts to make it a Triple-Threat-- the fact that this house show changed the card on the fly to a 6-Woman-Tag just reinforces my wild fantasies!

I kept comparing them to her when she got signed because I assume WWE thought she could replicate their quick ascensions in learning how to wrestle. Can add Brock to that list as well as far as naturals go To my surprise she's picking it up much quicker than I expected as I thought she may have some rough patches. Obviously she still is a little clunky and i'm sure there is more sitting down and practicing with her than others but WWE may really have something special if she can truly be anywhere near Kurts level

Thinking before WrestleMania 34 that Ronda Rousey was going to be a train wreck in the ring might be the most wrong I've been about wrestling since I said Eric Escobar was going to be WWE's next breakout star.
