I can't get my head around anyone watching MITB 2011 and coming away from it feeling sad and depressed. It baffles me.
It's one of the best shows they've ever put on.

The thing basically everyone was saying to you at the time though and for years since was that you shouldn't take other people's viewpoints on who you like so hard. Quite apart from which, even in Chicago, there was a duelling 'Let's Go Cena'/'Cena sucks' chant.
If anybody judges you for your fandom, then they're the asshole.

Clash, I know what you mean; the way you felt after MitB 2011 is the way I as a Reigns fan felt after Mania 32. Now that's not a defense of that show or the Reigns/HHH main event, since both sucked. But between reading posts (not here) from people who "felt hollow inside" after the main event, to getting hassled in-person for wearing a Reigns shirt to Extreme Rules a month later...yeah, it was not a good period to be a Reigns fan. I wasn't on the board back in 2011 but I can only imagine the shit Cena fans had to deal with.
