I doubt it but they certainly aren't setting him up to succeed.

I have never actually wanted to see a Former TNA Act go BACK to TNA
... And I still don't want to, but if WWE seriously isn't going to let Bobby be what got him over away from their brand, he's dead weight. Literally a bigger Apollo Crews and no one likes that.

Fixed. That is the more accurate question. Cuz holy shit, way to squander a dude who really had improved..and this is pre the sister stuff, much less now. Why even bring dude back? Because it's WCW WWE

I to never thought I would want someone to go BACK to TNA...knowing they would be used better,
This all must the result of the thinkers englightenment taking effect because that thought is not sane.
But damn it we could be getting a best of 70 series between Lashley and Cage right now.

The f***ed up thing that I come back to every time one of these threads happen is that WWE thinks whatever weird bad ideas they're doing to someone is actually meant to get them over in some weird-ass way. They're really bad at it, but I mean, look at how bad Roman has failed with the company walking him step by step through everything they believe will get him over. Creative is just horrible at their jobs at getting people over. We were supposed to watch last night and like Lashley more for it.

it is hoenslty one of those cases that instea dof having a script you have to follow you should just tell Lashley "You know what works for you,do that."

I'm amazed how badly the WWE botched Lashley. If they just allow him to be what he was in TNA, he would be awesome. Nope, we have to make him as lame as possible and book him in a russo bad segment.

They brought him in without a plan, and don't have anything interesting for him to do. People really should expect this, of pretty much any new star, either coming up from NXT or from outside the WWE. They don't plan anything, other than a couple of main event storylines.
A company that's worth more than it ever has been, and their writing staff couldn't get jobs on The Learning Channel, never mind NBC or Fox, if they weren't working for the WWE.

Yeah I remember being hyped when I heard he had returned the day after Mania, but he hasn't had a whole lot going on since that time.
I imagine they won't allow him to do two of his bigger moves, the powerslam/spear as that conflicts with Roman/Braun's finishers and I doubt they will let him do the dominator, so he's stuck with a lousy vertical suplex as his finisher.
Plus this feud with Sami isn't doing him any favors, especially after last night, holy s***.

He's being punished for having gotten better in-ring in TNA.
.....no, really, I truly believe that.

From what I've heard he was something of a monster in TNA destroying everything in his path? It could be that they figure they already have Braun for that and he's homegrown but Bobby was getting too much notoriety to leave alone maybe.

I really don't get what WWE is doing here with him. The dude was a fun power wrestler but really bad in terms of personality in his first WWE run. Then he went to TNA and found himself. He honed his craft as a wrestler and improved dramatically on the stick, mostly due to a newly grown self-confidence.
I mean, at least he still has his confidence going for him. But the material they're giving him is so bad...

No- they just want us to go along with whatever they do. Whether it makes sense or not.
There was a great interview with RVD a while back about one of his comebacks where they didn’t have any real plans for him and it fell flat. That interview always sticks with me in stuff like this.

It’s not surprising at all when one considers that the WWE has been notoriously terrible at organically getting over babyface acts in recent years. Roman Reigns and Jason Jordan are the most recent examples of babyface acts that failed to get over, but whenever a babyface act DOES get over, it’s almost always either despite bad booking or because they got a good heel run where the fans could start to see personalities that they enjoyed.
That’s why fans pretty much always suggest a heel turn as a good option for a babyface that’s not getting over in the WWE. It’s not that a failing babyface act can’t be rehabbed by a really good wrestling promoter to get over with the fans. It’s that THIS COMPANY can’t do it. They are TERRIBLE at writing babyfaces.

The WWE doesn’t want any of their wrestlers to fail, they’re just clueless putzes about 92.4% of the time. This is one of those times. The worst part pretty much everyone called it that they’d strip away what got Lashley over in TNA. WWE is so predictable sometimes.

No, but it’s crazy and really telling of the way WWE is going right now that we legitimately have to ask the question.
