Obviously Bulldog was the most over in the UK, but Bret was definitely 2nd. So it's not that ridiculous a claim to make in my opinion, even if it is untrue. Bret was hugely over all across Europe. He was over, but the most over is a damned stupid thing to say (Even second is questionable when Savage and Warrior were there). It's like Undertaker saying he was the most over guy in Canada in 1997. It also completely ignores Davey Boy and his contributions which is a great disservice. Only thing I'll say with Bret's recollection is he really overplayed Davey ignoring him at the end of their match at Summerslam. One story that I laugh about is Hardcore Holly confronting the Kliq about giving him a hard time and actually scaring them into leaving him alone.

Well, Shawn wasn't really a tough guy at all, so if he folded, so might have the rest of them.

He just says they had a little talk, but his tone of voice wants you to think he had the whole Kliq cowering in a corner. This does lead to another one of my Nash observations. He goes from saying The Kliq didn't hold anybody down to saying Bob Holly would have gotten fired for daring to challenge them backstage.
