Yeah it seems like its just a difference in rows, I'm in row 15 and I'm assuming the 81 is 14 and below

Nine thousand tickets have been sold so far its being reported [br That's a very impressive number when you take in to account it was only a presale for members of ring of honours subscription service. They'll easily sell out when general admission goes on sale Friday.

Yeah... no chance of getting tickets tomorrow. Don't know if it'll help but, MSG has their presale on right now, use the internet presale and not the honorclub part. code is G1MSG
tinyurl.com/y8sqtbs9 - if the one in the story doesn't workAnd the presale is sold out: ROH AND NEW JAPAN AT MSG PRE-SALE TICKETS SOLD OUT by Mike Johnson @ 1:29 PM on 8/9/2018 All tickets allocated for online pre-sales for the 4/6/19 Ring of Honor and New Japan G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden sold out immediately as soon as today's MSG pre-sale began at 10 AM Eastern. Whatever tickets are left will be released tomorrow morning for the general public, but if you want to attend the show, be ready and order quickly, as it would appear there are not many tickets left following the online pre-sales.

So over ten thousand have been sold then? Sounds like it A little under 12k according to PWInsider. This is going to have alarm bells going off in WWE. Two non WWE events in the span of a month have each sold over ten thousand.
ROH is doing the right thing unlike what TNA has tried over the years, steadily growing their fanbase and appeal to others and make themselves more well known, instead of trying to pick fights and take shots over the littlest things.

Also, as a bit of a tie-in, Sinclair's merger with Tribune Media was called off today. On top of that, Tribune is suing Sinclair for $1 billion for breach of contract. I'm sure Sinclair has deep pockets, but that has to sting.

While this royally f***s my chances of getting tickets at face value I can’t express how awesome this is for the industry.
New Japan and Ring of Honor are going to sell out the Garden. Let that sink in.
What a time to be alive indeed.

If you look online you can still get some seats - they're not amazing sections but they still have great sight lines. I got two tickets on Ticketmaster, one for me and one for a buddy and I think it ran me $180 a piece. Should be a great show.

God damn. That indy I used to buy DVD's some 11 years ago is now selling out The Garden. I remember at the first Manhattan Center show they made a big deal out of being down the road from MSG. What a time to be alive.

What a time to be alive. Manhatten Mayhem was a great show and one I still have it in DVD. Kinda curious how it's aged...

It was, but when it when to the FCC for approval, Sinclair's business behavior turned Tribune off to the deal. The exact quote used in the business journal was "[Sinclair] engaged in belligerent and unnecessarily protracted negotiations with antitrust officials..."

Got my tickets.
I've been to many ROH shows. I never thought I'd go to one at MSG. But I will be there...with a smile on my face. Maybe a tear in my eye.
Should be a great night!

The dates were already set, so they couldn't use their right of first refusal on MSG and move anything without breaching their deal with Barclays.

Honestly, I would have thrown NXT in the Garden when originally planning things out if I were WWE. NXT TakeOver: Garden Party would have been neat. I know that TakeOver Brooklyn is kinda their WrestleMania, but with it being typically a SummerSlam vehicle, you could have done it a lot differently. but, WWE wants everything out of the same building, which would be easier, yeah, but that just opens everything up. They have no one to be mad at, unless they want to be mad at themselves.
