You sell Lewandowki, let James go and with them money you bring Benjamin Pavard, Lucas Hernandez and Timo Werner.

An embarrassing end for an embarrassing season. They’ll only win the Bundesliga because Reus is hurt.

Florentino according to sources asked for Ajax, I hope this bullshit doesn’t happen again during friday’s Quarter final draws. Like I don’t want to watch Barcelona against Porto or some rigged bullshit.

and i wonder if we're gonna get the "arsenal can still win two goals down" comedy routine Not sure exactly what you’re saying here but there wasn’t much doubt Arsenal would turn the tie around at The Emirates.

Inter Miami aims to start their first two seasons in Lockhart Stadium. Slight problem. Here's Lockhart as it stands right now. And this is what Beckham and company want the new venue to look by 2020. This is for a two-year venue that would serve as both for a USL affiliate, and also an alternate site for international competition. Lockhart was left abandoned after the Ft. Lauderdale Strikers folded (who played in the NASL, which is a league I'm very familiar with, given the Indy Eleven played in for years before moving to USL Championship).

Barcelona may pay Ajax seventy million for Matthis de Ligt, he would join Frenkie de Jong there. Man poor Ajax, their best players in a generation and they gotta sell them at the same time to Barcelona. It would be very awkward if they end up facing each other in the quarter finals.

That's basically been Ajax's MO for the last three decades - produce outstanding young players, sell them to Europe's elite for huge profits, rinse and repeat. Such is the life of a big club trapped in a weak league.

Such is the life of a big club trapped in a weak league. Well that shouldn’t have to be the case, I don’t know if the economy of the country is that bad but the Eresdivisie should be superior. It angers me that such prestigious clubs don’t get a direct berth to the champions league. It isn’t that weak of a league, PSV and Feyenoord are also up and comers. It’s crazy that Suarez got his first break at Amsterdam and they had to sell them a short time later. If they keep such players they would fare better on the bigger stage.

I don't think it's anything to do with economy and more a case of just not being particularly fashionable for investors. The money simply isn't there. The league isn't as weak as the Scottish league, for example, but besides Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord there's very little real quality, which makes retaining top class players for any significant length of time next to impossible.
