I’m sure its healthy to be involved in the wrestling industry so young. God knows it worked so well for Paige. Guys and girls should totally be wrestling before their bones are even fully formed. I'd like to direct your attention to like every luchador ever.

I'd say probably, since the training itself involves throwing your body to the ground all the time, whereas in gymnastics, that only happens when you make a mistake. Not being American, not sure about football, but I would assume you don't get tackled like, every 30 seconds.

Is it any worse than playing football or doing gymnastics? Yes. I'd argue football would be worse. With the studies of CTE and the reported cases of so many retired players with it, I'd say its more dangerous than wrestling. So many players retire so early because of various injuries, rarely making it passsed 30.

I severely doubt she's taking any bumps. Probably she'll just get tagged in to do a kick or get the pin or something.

Is it any worse than playing football or doing gymnastics? Yes. I hate when people make responses like this. Don’t be a smart ass, because for starters you have done no research to say this.

At worst, Football is exactly the same from a physically taxing perspective. Gymnastics is not even close to the two. You add in the mental warping that the wrestling industry does on FULL GROWN ADULTS? Pro Wrestling is much much much MUCH worse.

I can't compare American football, but I can compare rugby to wrestling physically and wrestling took way more physically.

How so? Pro Wrestling has a history of concussions and damage. Same as football. Throw in the politics and weird mental state of promoters, bookers and fellow wrestlers. The entire industry is a mindf*** that breeds broken people that don't know what's the truth and what's a lie by the time they're 40. And that's without all the painkillers, travel and lack of insurance. Wrestling training is literally throwing yourself onto a hard surface over and over and over again to try and 'harden' your body to the trauma. Football training isn't getting tackled 50 times so you can get used to it.

And gymnastics is literally throwing yourself at a hard surface.

They happen, but you're specifically learning to AVOID spiking yourself into the floor, and landing on your feet in the safest way possible same way, every time. It's not "Slam your hips, back, and head against this plywood panel until you don't feel it anymore". And as someone who's played football....you must have had a sadist coach. That's not at all how you should learn.

I think maybe you need to research these things alittle more?

That's not at all how you should learn. My sister was a competitive gymnast for over 10 years. Are you telling me landing a vault isn’t a trauma similar to taking a bump? Do you know how many vaults you do when you are training for that? I think you guys don’t know what you are talking about on this one, sorry.

That is crazy talk, I played football my entire life. You are hitting all day in practice. Part of the fun of practice was getting to put pads on your teammates. If wrestling is so much more dangerous than football, why do injured football players transition to wrestling?

I severely doubt she's taking any bumps. Probably she'll just get tagged in to do a kick or get the pin or something. Yeah, I see this as harmless fun. Worst case scenario, maybe Izzy throws a drop kick but I’d be willing to bet money that she doesn’t take a bump, and probably doesn’t leave her feet. She’s not working a full match, she’s not bumping night in and night out, let the kid have a little fun. When I was her age, I’d have killed to do something like this. Hell, I’m 32 and if some Indy wanted me to do something like this I’d be all over it.

Is it necessary to bring a tween into that?
