I have vague memories of watching some show at my cousins house around 1999, seeing the Undertaker come out to the ring in his full Ministry garb and just thinking it was the coolest thing ever at eight/nine years old.
As I started watching the shows regularly, I got more interested in other wrestlers - Austin, DX and (somewhat regrettably cos it was during his woman-beater phase) Jeff Jarrett. But Taker was definitely the one that got me hooked in.

Randy Savage and The Ultimate Warrior. I loved the bright, crazy neon designs on their ring gear; it looked like something from the future, or a Saturday-morning cartoon.
When I discovered WCW it was Sting, for the same reasons. My family and I went to the beach every year for summer vacation, so I loved that this guy looked like a surfer.

Probably Randy Savage, but it was more than one. Bret Hart, Flair and Undertaker were also some of my favorites around mid 1991 when I first regularly started watching WWF.

Randy Savage. The promos, the intensity, the coming off the top rope stuff, etc.

The match that got me hooked was 2 Cold Scorpio vs. Chris Benoit at SuperBrawl III in 1993. It was such a phenomenal match that I started paying attention to the rest of that card, then I started watching both WCW and the WWF shortly thereafter.

The hell? No Scott Steiner posts yet? You're slipping, F.A.N.!
Anyways, the guy that made me realise that, "yes, wrestling is awesome", was Ultimate Warrior.

The first wrestling I watched: Ted DiBiase challenges Duggan to a tuxedo "match" where they let the crowd's cheers judge the winner. DiBiase took losing with grace...wait, I mean he ended up a few minutes later in the parking lot with a baseball bat looking for Duggan's car and then waylaid it.
A few weeks later, I was at a friend's house and saw a match with Kareem Muhammad and Kamala beating the crap out of a couple of Mid-South jobbers.
I was hooked.

My earliest wrestling memory is watching the Saturday morning syndicated show, and seeing a clip of Hogan and Warrior facing off from Royal Rumble. Instantly hooked.
