Actually only the CPU speed of the Mega Drive/Genesis was higher than the SNES. Everything else spec wise, the SNES was superior, especially in the graphic department. The SNES also has a lower display resolution.

The SNES also has a lower display resolution. So I'm wrong... AGAIN.

The SNES also has a lower display resolution. Most early SNES games had a lower resolution of 256x224, but the SNES itself was capable of a resolution of up to 512x448, while the Genesis' max was 320x224 (320x240 on PAL TV sets). The standard Genesis game also ran at a resolution of 256x224 (256x240 in PAL regions) anyway.

Forward thinking.
Like, come on surely they knew they'd need voice chat at some point right? There had to have been a way during dev time they could have made an easier way to connect headsets than that abomination they have for Splatoon.
Although this is the company that was so bad at forethought with online features you had to get Netflix as DVD software for 2 years before they figured out app downloads.

I wouldnt say forward thinking as much Non-Gaming media. The Switch doesnt has any non-gaming related application. The Switch doesnt even have a browser when the Wii U had all that. The non-headset probably came from the you have fun mentality,we dont want strangers to ruin it(if you have a friend you are probably using something like discord anyway). Not saying it is a good thing but that is the logic "the game comes first". But for example Miyamoto just did an interview where he said that games should have a fixed price,he doesnt believe in free to play outside of mobile.. www.ign.com/articles/2018/08/24/shigeru-miyamoto-criticises-free-to-play-modelSo sometimes this logic of "games first" of Nintendo is amazing, other times not so much.

Yes to the achievements/trophies.
I'm not even a trophy hunter, it's just a nifty reminder I'm doing what needs to be done. It's nice being rewarded even if it means nothing. Lol

To be fair I'd put money on the real reason the Switch doesn't have a browser being because that's why the Wii U is so stupid easy to hack.

Pretty sure that was an exclusivity deal with Xbox. Since PS3 had the Netflix on Disk deal as well.

On the Wii, though to be fair the PS3 had the same issue. Like I said above like 99% that was an exclusivity deal, because that was at the time Microsoft was boasting NEtflix being able to stream with Xbox Live Gold. especially as both Wii and PS3 had downloadable apps out of the box.
