Glad to see that Neville's out of his WWE contract, since leaving him locked down was a waste of someone that talented. I hope he does well, and eventually returns to wrestle people on Raw or Smackdown that aren't just part of the 205 Live roster.

Neville is excellent but I don't feel sorry for him in this situation. He had a great run on 205, killed it, and left pretty much straight after he dropped the belt. From when he returned and turned heel to him walking out, he was booked like a 205 Braun, and I thought the walkout was a bad look on him considering the run. As soon as the angle with Consensual Penis was over, Neville was going back to 205 live and back to wrestling in front of dead crowds in matches that didn't matter, in a division that WWE had told the fans didn't matter. He wasn't going to move higher on the card to a place that his run as the 205 champion warranted.
He was going to be pushing against the glass celling and not breaking it. He would be in the same boat as Tozawa, who despite getting over with Titus Worldwide (and working with his real life bestie Apollo Crews), went back to 205 and started teaming with the past it Hideo Itami.
Neville is proof the "brass ring" bullshit is just that, unless they were already really high on you to begin with.

Could this be how Flip gets booked at All In?

About damn time. He proved himself to be a tremendous talent and WWE did what WWE does and squandered the opportunity to use him to his fullest potential. I hope he's All In, cause the reaction would be amazing.

It's not official. There is no mention on WWE.com or any of their social media pages. He's still listed on the Raw Roster.

I'm definitely going to be watching whichever promotion he lands in. The heel character he created on 205 Live felt like he'd finally found himself as a wrestler, and he's only scratched the surface with it.

I wouldn't be surprised if the past year waiting for it to expire he's been in contact with Gedo. He was in the BOSJ a couple times before he went to NXT

He'll be back ringside at a Takeover within 2 years Would be funny. I'm sure if he ever returns he's gotta get a main roster deal with a great push rather than what he was doing before. Neville ain't taking no shit anymore from this company lol.

Well I hope Pac is finally happy and makes more money from the indies and japan than in the wwe.
I think he could’ve been a bigger star than being only a cruiserweight. That injury during the match with Jericho derailed his career.

Good.
This dude is about to set it on fire in whatever independent and international companies he goes to.
Shame it came to this instead of rewarding his incredible 205 work. WWE's loss here.

Reading through this it dawned on me that had he never left, he'd still be on 205 Live. That's just unnecessarily cruel.

I also think that the doom and gloom has been overstated, but I doubt WWE care enough about those guys enough to say anything. Neville is a bit different because he's had a really high profile issue with the company for about a yeah, we'll see. I disagree in part because, especially with Bram, it only takes one journalist a little bit of research time to set up a potential problem and cause things to go crazy. But also if WWE were to stop booking decisions and have these companies be “developmental” then they’d want their talents to fill it, not have for example the majority of the women’s division and the champion be World of Sport signees. And also to add to this, OTT has a relationship with WWE and literally just announced they were getting LIJ in for October. Which should probably be the biggest no no going but it’s happening. I don't think WWE is afraid of something like Bram considering they shitcanned and the worst he did happened long after he was gone. But I also think that they knew Grado isn't going to be any "bigger" working an indie WWE has a deal with. I think it's not quite "these companies are new developmental" in a strict sense, but Neville is a very different situation than someone in a company WWE considers a threat. Neville is someone they intentionally shut out and prevented from working but also didn't cut loose for a long-ass while. WWE might not want to wide-scale abuse their arrangements to keep everyone they don't like out, but I think we could possibly see them step in on the specific cases of guys it's "personal" with. WWE wants something in exchange for these arrangements, this promotion, and in some cases even loaning a dude out for an appearance, and I think this could be the kind of area where that something is going to come into play. And also, like I said; it's not a given I expect it to happen, I just think if it does go down, it's not going to be a big surprise, and it's going to put things into a new light.
