Take a listen here - goradiomn.com/eminem-drops-surprise-album-kamikaze/The song with Joyner Lucas was better than I expected, seems like he's taking a deliberately anti-pop approach to it. No self-reflection, just a punchline generator. Anyone heard it yet?

I haven't heard it yet but I hear it's pretty good and I hear that Em's back on his shit. Good if true, Em needed this. He needed this bad.

Heard it was great. Only got to listen to the first track before it seemingly got pulled from Amazon Music? Definitely seemed like a return to old form, hope it goes back up soon so I can finish the album.
Edit: Must’ve been an error, it’s already back up.
Edit 2: Explicit was pulled, only Clean is up.

It’s not an Eminem record, it’s a Slim Shady production.
The only hits Joe Budden gets is when he smacks bitches...damn rip. He also killed Lord Jamar and that bitch Akademiks.
Stepping Stone was dope, him admitting why D12 failed was heartbreaking.
Probably his best work since Recovery just because the rap god finally put to sleep the f***ing mumble rappers.

Em has been active for more than twenty years holy f***.
There’s a line about him inventing the culture, and inspiring Kendrick and Cole.. 🔥

He also killed Lord Jamar He's probably so excited deep down that Em finally gave him what he's been wanting.

Sorry I made another thread about this. Mods- can you delete?
Even though I liked some of the albums in between, I think this is the album a lot of Ems fans have wanted since The Eminem Show. A true hip hop album from front to back. Even has a My Name Is, Without Me type joint on it, I appreciate that for the throwback aspect.
I also LOVE the joint about D12. Him breaking down their relationship was very interesting to a geek like me.
And just the idea of the most successful person to ever do the genre taking the time to make an album just because his feelings were hurt people didn’t like his last is truly fascinating to me.

This is so so SO much better than revival. He actually has his fire back, you can clearly hear it in his voice. Sort of reminds me of a modern 2002 or 2003 Em when he was pissed off and hungry.

I’m also happy that he’s attacking the YouTube reviewers.
I always hated that shit I don’t know why. I always felt most of them just do it to get famous.

The last three tracks ended the album on a low and reminded me of revival, However pretty much everything else is solid.
7.5 or 8/10.

Joe Budden should get a career before he tries to come back with bars.

That D12 track was depressing. Damn. I remember being in school and on lunch going to a teacher's class and seeing Purple Hills on the tv. I remember Fight Music. Man, sad.

Probably his best work since Recovery just because the rap god finally put to sleep the f***ing mumble rappers. The sooner this obsession with the Tussin-drinking, Triplet-griefing, Soundcloud-obsessed garbage is over with, the better. Damned mainstream rap industry has less flow than a backed up toilet at a third-rate stage at Coachella.

I've noticed lately how many artists in the hip-hop and R&B genres manage to release full albums without any leaked tracks or prior knowledge from the fans.
In this day and age, how do they manage to keep the tracks hidden until the (unannounced) release date?

Given their relationships with streaming services they can upload their music there and drop it and just put a link up similar to any random Soundcloud underground artist. It's easy these days.
