- Becky conveniently glosses over the "Did you want me to step aside or lie down for you to win?" argument, because she and everyone know that Charlotte has a point
- Charlotte condescendingly claps at Becky's proclamations and calls her "second best in the ring"
Both women just don't care anymore about each other's opinion, and I love it.

I do love it, but I am not giving WWE much credit as they basically fell into it by complete accident.

Love the feud, but it's not a good look for them to just ignore the fact Charlotte has already betrayed Becky AND her father even forced himself on her before. So while she has a point about winning the match fair and square, to those of us supporting Becky in it she's looking like a big hypocrite when she whines about Becky "throwing away the friendship over the title."

This really needs to be addressed before their PPV match. Charlotte never turned face. She turned face in April/May 2017. Unfortunately, SDL's bizarre approach to its women's division in 2017 meant that it didn't get as fleshed out as it should have.

Charlotte: "If anyone knows what it's like to grow up in a shadow, it's me."
*uses a remix of her dad's theme song* *comes out in a robe just like her dad* *WOOs like her dad* *uses her dad's finisher*
Now I like Charlotte, but there are plenty of legitimate reasons why she's getting booed.

Charlotte still should be the heel to Becky badass face.
I have no interest on trying to buy charlotte as a face

Short version: just watch the first 10 seconds of the video and listen to the massive BECKY! BECKY! BECKY! chants. Followed by boos for Charlotte.
Sometimes this company doesn't deserve the criticism it gets regarding its creative decisions but jeeeeeeez, this one's staring you in the face guys.

This really needs to be addressed before their PPV match. Charlotte never turned face. She turned face in April/May 2017. Unfortunately, SDL's bizarre approach to its women's division in 2017 meant that it didn't get as fleshed out as it should have. I don't really think she did; other heels saying "You're an asshole and we don't want you here" isn't a face turn, and especially when you have someone who spent so long being a major heel, you need some kind of payoff and development. It's the same thing with Seth's face turn; he never really found his footing with the crowd or cemented the turn until he had that redemption arc with Dean where he actually got to be a good guy. Before that, he was a guy whose main gripe was "Triple H cheated to help someone else win and not me" and crowds weren't super into it. Same issue with Charlotte; she's never had a moment of redemption or apology or even really being ashamed of anything; she moved to a new show, some heels said "Hey she's toxic and we don't want her here", and not only that but the story portrayed the Welcoming Committee as objectively wrong for that. Charlotte has never had to confront what she did, never had a point where she apologized to Becky or addressed what she'd done, and even the inception of her "heel turn" was all about her and not her doing something for someone else. Whether or not people analyze the story, this kind of stuff will subconsciously nag away at people with reminders that something is screwy and not quite done. Charlotte hasn't really turned face at all.

Charlotte's face turn in 2017 is comparable to Edge's face turn in 2010.
-Both were drafted to SmackDown
-Both remained the same in attitude for a while (what Edge did to Kane and Paul Bearer was not babyface-like, to say the least)
-Both slowly changed their fighting styles before becoming more friendly (Charlotte reverted to be Cena-like in ring, while Edge took risks he didn't take as a heel, like fighting in an Elimination Chamber from beginning to end)

I remember when Charlotte first came in they had seemed to intend to do a trust building storyline between Charlotte and the faces but very soon after Becky and Charlotte were drinking imaginary cups of tea together as if they forgot the whole thing.

They really could go the Stone Cold route with Becky.
Charlotte- “What did you want me to do?”
Becky- What I want you to do right now is stop flapping your gums, making your stupid excuses and get ready for me to whip your ass!”
They are trying for way too much nuance on the heel/face thing since Becky’s turn blew up in their face. Just make her an ass kicker who is supremely focused on the belt.

The problem isn't so much that Charlotte won the match the way she did, the problem is that she shouldn't have been there in the first place. Or maybe she could just say "No, I don't want to steal Becky's thunder, I will challenge the winner for the next PPV."

Charlotte pinning Becky off of a "cheap" from-behind move like Natural Selection seems more heelish than if she simply broke up the Disarm-Her and fought Becky face-to-face with Carmella on the outside.

The person the fans boo is the heel. The person the fans cheer for is the face.
This has nothing to do with being a "good guy" or a "bad guy". Becky is not a heel.

What the hell's that all about, Charlotte?" "The Princess of Staten Island kicked your ass back to The Queen City!"

She also won a single match after her return and was instantly put into the title match, while Becky had to go on a winning streak to earn the same opportunity. Becky not going after Paige for her bad management, or decrying the Triple Threat match concept itself is bad writing.

I like to think Becky went to Paige about it behind closed doors, then they made up and danced to Linkin Park.

Keep pushing Charlotte as a face and she'll be Charlotte Reigns forever.
