Just like that. Pretty slick, WWE.

Works for me. She was bad as a face when they first called her up, but she's only improved as a performer since then. Plus having R-Truth and Tye to play off, like how she had Enzo and Cass, will help.
Plus there was really nothing else for her to do as a heel.

Like I said in the live thread, you never get these big, blatant "THIS PERSON IS FACE NOW" moments like you do with heel turns. The vast majority of them are just like... Now they're face. No explanation, they just are.

I hate the lack of definitive turns these days, it's mainly a face problem.

I didn't watch SD but based on that pic she turned by doing a little dance with R Truth? O.....kay?

Nah, it was when she agreed to stand ringside with R-Truth last week since Maryse called her "Staten Island Trash". I'm sure it was mainly to play into the Mixed Match Challenge stuff, but they didn't bother with much 'this match is canon' stuff until Asuka had her match when her streak suddenly counted if she lost and she was playing a face with Big E and New Day.

I find it amazing they are doing entire storylines to set up this Mixed Match Challenge thing that no one will watch. But yeah, Carmella's face turn. It was up there with Ted Dibiase turning face against Ric Flair in 1985.

then after the MMC Maryse says "I was wrong about Carmella, she's actually pretty classy" and Carmella turns back heel again.

I hate the lack of definitive turns these days, it's mainly a face problem. It honestly removes me from the show sometimes. Like, you put investment into a character and want to see them lose or overcome obstacles and then all of a sudden, they're in a different spot because they're needed in that spot now. The reason Seth's popular now is because they actually went through an arc with him and Dean where Seth admitted he was an asshole for turning on the Shield and wanted to show he meant that to the fans too. And it worked. I'm not expecting everyone to go through those sort of arcs but just turning people for no reason makes them less like characters and more like game pieces, moving them because they need to be at a certain spot.
