The fighting is dumb as hell, but if you can honestly say that they didn't get absolutely screwed, then I have no idea what to tell you Oh well. Thereโs about 20 penalties that go uncalled in every game, dozens of missed offsides and a few missed icings. For once a call didnโt go the Bruins way, Jeremy Jacobs will have a chat and game 6 will go the Bruins way. In terms of sleazeball owners in sports, Jacobs has to be top 1%.

And you're really gonna go with "the owner is gonna bribe the refs!" nonsense when Berube cried like a little girl 2 games ago?

I was at the viewing party at Enterprise Center and it was insane there and that's just fans watching the game on the jumbo tron. OK get horrible call, but there been a LOT of that this whole playoff series and playoffs in general so yes I do feel a little about that for Boston. But as a Blues diehard, I've waited my whole life to see the Stanley Cup for this team. With all the ups and down in my life time with this team and before I was born. All of this is been memorable. If we do this Sunday at home, it's going to bar non be the greatest moment in sports history in St. Louis and in my life. It's going to be bigger than any Cardinals World Series win lately. The wait as been long over due. One more game to win, I believe they can do it. I'm excited and terrified. Also, if tickets come down to around 1500, I'm going. But that's prob not gonna happen. Me too, I have to keep checking between now and Sunday. Right now it's 2,000 a piece for noise bleeds. I've check a few legit ticket resale sites. We will see if they drop like Sunday when people who legit can't go want to gain something for there tickets before they loss out .

Heโs just gonna use his considerable pull at the league. Things donโt happen in the NHL without Jeremy Jacobs saying so

Barbashev has been suspended for Game 6 after an illegal hit At least he won't get to do the whole 'hoisting the Cup on the ice' thing if the STLB win Game 6. (Although technically he could if they win it in 7. Yeah, that won't be the loudest jeers you've ever heard in an arena, Bruins fans seeing that guy skating around with Stanley's Cup on Boston ice. )

Rooting for the Blues to finish this off. Always cool to see a first time champion.

Another Blues note that Thomas is game time decision. So it is possible Thomas could be in with Barbashev out. Which for the Blues would be big since he was a huge impactful player in the playoffs.

The thing about the call with Boston is that a lot of Boston fans are acting like it happened at the final second of the third period. Boston didn't lose because of that one miss call. They lost because they where 0/3 in PPs in that game and 0 for the last seven if you add in game 4. They where out played 5 on 5 through out the game. They had time to score and tie but failed at doing so. Sure we could go if they called it, could have been OT and ext. Nobody knows what would happened. But Boston also still didn't play to the whistle which is the #1 rule in Hockey. You always play to whistle so really that goal could have been defended better. The Blues took so much crap for our coach "whinning" a few games ago. Yet Boston is doing the same and somehow it's now ok because it happened to them. You what the different between what this was and what the Blues dealt with? The Hand pass legit ended the game because it happened in OT.

You what the different between what this was and what the Blues dealt with? The Hand pass legit ended the game because it happened in OT. Well, I stated earlier Iโm fine with the hand pass goal. Iโm fully aware of the rule. The game is imperfect. Thatโs just how it is. Blaming the refs is just easy. Iโve been a referee. I know the rules. I remember a coach saying to me โYou gotta stop calling all these penalties. Weโre gonna be here all nightโ. I said โIโve only called two and both of them put you on the power playโ. He said โOhโ. Another time I was doing a game with my boss. He said โIโm sick of the bitching. Weโre calling the rule book to the letter.โ The game was a f***ing mess. You know what is a penalty?? Everything. Any heel dreams of the heat we got. At the end of the period he said โThis is the rule book. Weโre calling it that wayโ.

That Hull goal still gets me. I love Hull, and it's great that he was finally able to win the Cup he had long deserved. But Hasek was playing his goddamn ass off, and he deserved better than an obviously wrong call to end his run. That was the best goalie season I've ever seen in my life and I feel comfortable saying it is the best goalie season I WILL ever see in my life. He also finally got his much deserved Cup in Detroit, but it always feels weird seeing someone who carries a franchise go to a giant power franchise. It's not like Malone and Payton trying to bandwagon on the Lakers or Seau (RIP) jumping onto the Pats wagon, as Hasek still had a lot left in the tank and ended up winning Cups 6 years apart in Detroit. But it just leaves you feeling like the accomplishment went from way too hadd to a little too easy. But the West was still stacked with Avs, Stars, Blues, Sharks, Canucks, etc so whatevs.

And Bennington has become a sieve.
The Blues may want him to not be in goal on Wednesday.
