That got wwe runs?
Ric Flair and it's not close. I would've picked Terry Funk but he retired like three times on a year during that time.

I’d say it’s Flair definitely. As someone pointed out he was still going full time past 50 & was still doing good. The rest were only wrestling sporadically. Steamboat while impressive only wrestled just a few times past 50. Flair went out there almost every week for awhile & still put on some solid matches.

Unlike most guys on the list, Ric still did the house shows and worked every fn week.

If this is just WWE, I'm going Ric Flair, because he could do it on a full time basis. Steamboat looked amazing, but we only got 3 matches. If this is all of wrestling, Minoru Suzuki, Yuji Nagata and Jushin Liger are all still top workers and are 50+. Also Bockwinkel was still damn good after 50. Flair might have been onto something dodging back bumps all those years.

Just throwing this out into the open: Ivory is 56, and could easily still go today if they let her after her showing at the battle royal this past Sunday.

Wasn't Steamboat out since 1994 because of his back?

As far as how good they were at or after 50, Bockwinkle or Suzuki.

But if we’re talking about the best consistently at 50+ it has to be Flair since he was going out there every week & working some good matches.

Torn between either Steamboat or Liger, though I'm leaning towards Liger due to his consistency and sheer longevity.

Minoru Suzuki is 50 years old, and is about as credible as anyone out there. You could push the guy to a world title and it wouldn't be out of the question. I initially voted for Steamboat because of his match with Jericho a few years ago, but yeah, this is the right answer.

It's Suzuki and the best thing is he's developed a wrestling style that he really could carry on doing for a long time yet and still look good doing it.
He's the best.

Sting got in shape and looked really good against Seth.
If he didn't get injured I could see him working most of 2016 as a special attraction. Damn shame.

I watched the WM Steamboat return and following Raw match earlier this year. It's seriously so cool seeing him go out there and get one of the few genuinely meaningful "you still got it" chants - he really did!
Steamboat actually worked house shows later that year in 2009, facing the likes of Sheamus, Jericho and Drew McIntyre of all people. Would've loved to see one of those. He also wrestled in a tag match with his son while in FCW in 2010. I would've loved to see the guy win the IC title one last time for a brief run. He and Morrison in a retirement feud? Would've been spectacular!
