Note: if they’re 48/49 like HHH or Hogan was in 2002 then I’m lumping them into my list.
With a bunch of fifty year olds about to rassle this week I thought I would make this poll. Haven’t put HBK on the list as haven’t seen old man Michaels wrestle yet.
Who had the best wrestling run when they were around fifty?
My pick is Hogan because god he had a great 2002 and up to mania 2003. Match quality was up and down but damn what an epic comeback at the time.

Are we talking about wrestling ability or how well they have aged? Hogan in 2002/2003 aged wonderfully. Great physique with a chiseled but battle-hardened face. Same for HHH currently. Flair looked great for his first two years back in WWE before aging rapidly. Bockwinkel was also a good looking guy in his later years. I can't think of any wrestlers who look as good as Dr. Wagner Jr. in their later years though. At 53 the dude is insanely good looking.
As for decent wrestling runs Hogan had an epic comeback in 2002-2003. Triple H can still put on good-great matches if he needs to. Jericho is slightly younger but he's out there doing his thing. Flair put himself through some needless brutality to prove he was still a great performer in his 50s. If Steamboat made a more permanent comeback in 2009 (and got his hairplugs in sooner lol) he would have had a nice run.

Minoru Suzuki is 50 years old, and is about as credible as anyone out there. You could push the guy to a world title and it wouldn't be out of the question.

Why the hell are Kane, The Undertaker and Triple H on this list? Trips is 49, and as for Kane and The Undertaker.....have you seen them wrestle lately?

Regarding Trips, 49 is close enough to fifty to include him. Hogan was 49 in 2002. I've included him too and he ruled in 2002. Regarding Taker, he had good matches with Brock. In 2015. But yeah not since. Regarding Kane, Kane sucks.

Roddy Piper was horrid in WCW, and he wasn’t even 50 yet. Definitely not him.

If this is just WWE, I'm going Ric Flair, because he could do it on a full time basis. Steamboat looked amazing, but we only got 3 matches.
If this is all of wrestling, Minoru Suzuki, Yuji Nagata and Jushin Liger are all still top workers and are 50+. Also Bockwinkel was still damn good after 50.
