What age was Finlay? Cos Finlay was kicking ass and wrestled like he was in his 30’s.

William Regal turned 50 this year, put him in the ring and let's see what he's got!

William Regal turned 50 this year, put him in the ring and let's see what he's got! I always think he's quite a bit older than he actually is.

Too bad Eddie or Perfect were not alive. They would easily have been this good today.

Damned right. Is that Sane, Io and Asuka? It’s Sane, Mayu Iwatani, and Io. Since we are counting around 50 and not WWE, I think Takashi Sugiura is the slam dunk answer for me. Might be having the best title run of most champs currently and maybe the best “last boss” aura going. Jun Akiyama is still amazing too, and of course LA Park was the first person I thought of.

Man, I'm just really cheered to see people mentioning Bockwinkle. he was the man. In my opinion most underrated top guy ever. I believe he was 54 when feuding with perfect. Running a full schedule, working top notch matches, with anyone that got in the ring with him. I wish they'd do a collection on him. His promos were as good as his ring work.

Bockwinkel was the classic sportsman to Hogan's super hero and Flair's Loud Mouth Jock. And he didn't need Bobby Heenan. They were just magic together.

WWF/E, it’s Ricky Steamboat.
Overall, it’s Minoru Suzuki
(Honourable mentions to Jushin Liger, Yuji Nagata and PCO)

If this is just WWE, I'm going Ric Flair, because he could do it on a full time basis. Steamboat looked amazing, but we only got 3 matches. This is why I vote Flair. His WWE run in 2002-2008 was full-time, varied, interesting and decorated, including feuds with world champions like Edge and Triple H. Steamboat looked great, but he needed long rest spots in every match and despite doing the house show loop with Jericho only wrestled on TV a handful of times. They really aren't at all comparable.
