McNeil isn’t included in the deal Another reliever off the Mets will go to Seattle It's going to be Gerson Bautista per Heyman. Heyman also indicating possibility that Cano may defer money or rework his deal.

Craig Kimbrel is seeking a 6 year deal
Highly doubt he gets it considering Chapman and Jansen were both a year or two younger than Kimbrel and they got 5 year deals.
I think Phillies make a splash and sign him tho or maybe even a return to ATL

Now it’s likley the Giants aren’t trading MadBum.
Keeping MadBum, kicking the tires of Realmuto. Sounds like the Giants of “old.”

Trader Jerry is now working overtime, between the Cano & Diaz to the Mets blockbuster negotiations, he got the White Sox to give catcher Omar Narvaez for setup relief Alex Colome.

Reds will non tender Billy Hamilton He's a free agent and can sign with any team
If Mets are in "win now mode" they need to pick him up and make these type of moves

Remember when Hamilton was this young up-and-comer who has reasonably high potential? And then he just never developed as a hitter at all? Stagnant would be an improvement for him. I would say he has potential, as lots of guys have been late bloomers in this sport, but I'd say that train has almost sailed on Billy.

He's still going to get consistent at bats I believe and probably get another season or 2 to show he can at least hit at the very least get on base but time is draining
That speed doesn't mean a damn thing if you can't get on base to use it. He's not going to sign some big $100 million dollar contract but I think a team will either give him a nice short deal
He still plays very good defense and as mentioned the speed is still there but whoever signs him is putting him at the bottom of the line up and just hoping for the great defense

Yeah, his range is unbelievable in the OF, but the guy just hasn't figured anything out at the plate. Wonder if that will be the fate for Buxton as well...

I think Buxton has a great season in him at some point where he could knocks 30 and steal 30 and never do it again. People will bet on it happening again and due to him still being young just hope he hits enough to justify it
Minnesota is playing cautious with Buxton though because they're regretting letting Aaron Hicks go

So the White Sox non-tender Avi Garcia & Matt Davidson, and give utility man Leury Garcia a one-year $1.55M deal.
With Avi spending more time disabled than not, it was time to move on.
Davidson was the 3B of the future when they traded closer Addison Reed to get him. Dude never did fully recover from breaking his leg in his first at-bat. Good DH, but Palka put up the same type of numbers and a lesser cost. Daniel will still switch DH with Delmonico & Engel when he's not in RF, and days Abreu needs a break from 1B.
That's where Leury's signing is genius. He can play anywhere. Especially if they're serious about sticking Moncada at 3B, that frees Leury up to play the Jose Oquendo role as super utility guy. (He's even the emergency catcher.)

Mets will non-tender Wilmer Flores. A good hitter off the bench but it was time. Never will forget 2015. One of my favorite Met home runs ever.
Mets WILL tender Travis d'Arnaud. Shocked there. Can't stay healthy at all.
Kenny says the Nats are close to getting Yan Gomes. Not sure what Cleveland would get.

Royals will non-tender Bubba Starling. Perhaps the biggest bust of this decade. Drafted ahead of Javy Baez, Lindor, and others.

Believe he's only a handful of players ever drafted number 1 overall to not play in the majors

The Rockies will sign him. They'll be able to move Blackmon to LF, put Hamilton in CF to man that huge outfield, get a leadoff hitter with speed, and in that park he may actually hit.

Think they should swing a trade and go get J.T. from the Marlins too

Starling expected to re-sign with KC. Give him credit, I would've probably given up at this point.
Nats have a deal to get Yan Gomes. OF Daniel Johnson is heading to Cleveland. No ideas if there will be any others.
