Watts is very very very racist, it’s beyond the restaurant comments. Read his interview again, he’s basically a white supremacist. This is what he said, “Who’s killed more blacks than anyone? The f***in’ blacks. But they want to blame that bullshit Roots that came on the air. That Roots was so bullshit. All you have to do if you want slaves is to hand beads to the chiefs and they gave you slaves. What is the best thing that has ever happened to the black race? That they were brought to this country. No matter how they got here. You know why? Because they intermarried and got educated. They’re the ones running the black race.” deadspin.com/hank-aaron-sparked-pro-wrestlings-first-major-racism-st-1823080138This goes beyond having a narrow mind, Watts is a virulent racist. Yeah, these are white supremacist talking points. There's no defending Watts on this. Despite this happening, Vince still hired Watts. Then a decade later Watts appeared on a wwe round table honoring black wrestlers...

Give Vince credit, he at least draws the line at unfrozen nazi wrestlers (we all know about his reaction to the proposed unfrozen nazi gimmick for heidenreich).

I don’t think he was « racist » as I “I hate all black people and they’re inferior” type. I think, like Vince, he just has a very narrow un pc view of other races and cultures. His racist comments that got him fired were about restaurants having to right to refuse service to people and if they didn’t want to serve blacks then the government shouldn’t make them. Let the court of public opinion deal with it. It’s not unlike the people complain about that bakery who didn’t want to make that cake for the gay wedding. Of course, that’s the story he tells years later. If you read a transcript of the actual interview, yeah if not racist then very bigoted considering the word he uses to describe gays Watts is very very very racist, it’s beyond the restaurant comments. Read his interview again, he’s basically a white supremacist. This is what he said, “Who’s killed more blacks than anyone? The f***in’ blacks. Yeah I think I'm remembering why old dudes hate social media. Imagine this in an era when accountability was a thing.

This actually isn't the first time she's addressed this. I remember a couple of years ago, I was watching a random WWE PPV that Gail was on and Matt Striker was commentating on it and Striker always had some sort of odd mean streak when it came to Gail. Someone mentioned Gail being Bryan;s girlfriend and Striker said Gail doesn't really count, kind of implying it was because she was Asian. He'd call her the Saigon Kid, Saigon is in Vietnam and Gail is Korean. He'd call her the Poison Fist of the Pacific Rim. I tweeted about Striker saying those things and tagged Gail in the tweets and she replied to me something to the effect of "That company being racist? I'm shocked!" and she obviously meant it in a sarcastic way. The Poison Fist of the Pacific Rim was what he called Yoshi Tatsu once and was a Simpson's reference.

Let’s see.... Sweet Saphire Akeem Saba Simba Virgil Slick eating fried chicken The Nation’s vandalized locker room Vince saying the n word Triple H saying nappy hair to Booker T and telling him to grab his bags Edge telling Cryme Tyme that he was gonna beat them black and blue Calling Mark Henry a silverback gorilla The social media employer who told Alberto to wash the dishes Mexicools Zeb Coulter Early New Day Kerwin White Bill Watts Bill Watts as hall of famer Bill Watts appearing on a round table that was supposed to honor black wrestlers Michael Hayes’ continued employment Roddy Piper’s program with Bad News Brown Lionizing Agent Orange’s racist ass despite never apologizing for his words only apologizing for getting caught Randy Orton’s tweets on Hispanic women Early Abraham Washington in FCW Colt Cabana being insulted for being Jewish in OVW by an agent Employing literal neo nazis with the Harris Twins Employing a real nazi in Ludvig Borga Several blackface segments Vince being surprised that men actually found Asian women attractive Colt Cabana getting the Scotty Goldman name only because he was Jewish Tatanka’s heel turn Muhammad Hassan Austin saying “I see sand people” to Hassan Kaientai Goldust using a blackface and a week later jive talking and using an afro Rikishi turning heel and playing the race card Slick invoking Hakeem ...something tells me this company might be a little racist. Muhammad Hassan as a character was not racist. The undertaker angle notwithstanding He unequivocally became one WITH the Taker angle there. They outright abandoned disgruntled Arab-American and had him full on leading masked terrorists including Daivari as 'martyr'.

And yeah Watts saying restaurants shouldn't have to serve blacks is utterly racist. Like literal, textbook definition of discrimination racist.

Whether you think Shinsuke or Asuka have ended up where they should, they’ve both been paid a f***ing fortune and been treated as serious competitors on TV. New Day treated as a top act. They even seem desperate to bring Del Rio back even if that will cost them money and be a PR nightmare. 70+ year old Vince might not have the most progressive attitude towards race, but Gail Kim saying the whole company is racist? Sorry. Not sold.

I dunno... the wentire "you don't like me becuase you're a racist you racist" stuff on its own was still kind racist... ESPECIALLY for the fact that the dude was Italian.

You're claiming she said the whole company is racist. She's not. I misspoke, but my examples were geared towards her argument that “Vince and his family are racist”, which is a bunch of bunk and says much more about Gail than it does about them.

Vince McMahon is an ancient white guy who thought him dropping the N-Word on national television was great for "comedy". Yes, he is racist. The fact that he then cut that black talent a check doesn't negate that. That's insane logic.

Doubtless the only reason Kim could have felt mistreated in WWE was because the McMahons are racist. On these very boards I have seen this performer mocked a bunch for a ridiculously inflated sense of her value, but now she says WWE management is racist and we’re backing her?

But this is someone who was booted from one company for attitude issues, went on to have exactly the same issues in another company (although they catered to her and were widely mocked for it), and has now come back around to saying that the company that didn’t give her everything she wanted is racist. I guess what I’m trying to say is if Shinsuke, or Asuka, or Hideo, or Akira Tozawa, flew back home tomorrow and immediately told Nippon News that WWE has been racist af to them, I’d understand that completely and think that was an important story. However, someone YEARS after the fact, who has had obvious issues, who carried those issues to a completely different company that indulged them, now putting a former employer on blast should be taken with a very large grain of salt.

This is a very good point. Why did she come out now with WWE being racism when she should have done so years ago? To me, she is acting like Shelly Martinez, trashing her former employer by spouting serious accusations. And for what, attention? Sympathy from the IWC? Yeah, it wouldn't surprised me that racism and even cases of rape happen in the WWE, but this should have put on blast in the moment of time, not several years later.
