I agree. But this is someone who was booted from one company for attitude issues, went on to have exactly the same issues in another company (although they catered to her and were widely mocked for it), and has now come back around to saying that the company that didn’t give her everything she wanted is racist. I guess what I’m trying to say is if Shinsuke, or Asuka, or Hideo, or Akira Tozawa, flew back home tomorrow and immediately told Nippon News that WWE has been racist af to them, I’d understand that completely and think that was an important story. However, someone YEARS after the fact, who has had obvious issues, who carried those issues to a completely different company that indulged them, now putting a former employer on blast should be taken with a very large grain of salt. This is a very good point. Why did she come out now with WWE being racism when she should have done so years ago? To me, she is acting like Shelly Martinez, trashing her former employer by spouting serious accusations. And for what, attention? Sympathy from the IWC? Yeah, it wouldn't surprised me that racism and even cases of rape happen in the WWE, but this should have put on blast in the moment of time, not several years later. What if she was embarrassed by what happened or she didn’t want to get blackballed? Again it is the only company to work for.

And yeah Watts saying restaurants shouldn't have to serve blacks is utterly racist. Like literal, textbook definition of discrimination racist. He legit said that you get into business so you can discriminate.

You'd think she wouldn't come back if they were that bad. Sounds like sour grapes from a retired wrestler. I worked at a job once was I was abusively getting yelled at and been told in front of everyone that I was going to get fired. I left the company and I never felt I needed to go back to that company. Hell, the company did change, from what I have heard, once it gotten a lot of bad reviews from Glassdoor.com.

Vince Mcmahon isn't racist. Vince Mcmahon cares about what will make him the most money. In his opinion having an all American good looking white man as the face of the company will make him the most money. To an extent he's right. That's why most movies and TV shows have white men in leading roles.
When someone like The Rock, Booker T, or Mark Henry comes along he's given them world titles. He's employed 100s of black wrestlers over the years, in addition to numerous other ethnic groups. In turn, giving them millions of dollars in pay.
If Vince is a racist, he kind of sucks at it.
Do racist things happen in the WWE? Of course, there are hundreds of employees from different backgrounds interacting every day, things happen. No different than every company that ever existed.

If you really think that in the real world, the minute everybody comes across something they don't like they immediately do something or tell someone, and the only ones who don't are all big fat liars...... Well buddy you've never walked a mile in someone else's shoes.

You're claiming she said the whole company is racist. She's not. I misspoke, but my examples were geared towards her argument that “Vince and his family are racist”, which is a bunch of bunk and says much more about Gail than it does about them. You or me or anyone on here can't say with any authority Vince&co is or is not racist. And again, doing something that makes fiscal sense for your business doesn't nullify potential biases either. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't, but 'He makes money off this group too' definitely ain't proof one way or another.

Many that worked in the WWE in the past blasted the WWE for thier practices, including people like Bruno Sammartino, Bret Hart, etc... Even some of the women like Sable and Madusa(who put the women's title in a trashcan in another company) and none of them were completely blackballed from the WWE. Also, do you really think ROH or other feds would blackball her for calling the racist practices in the WWE? Why couldn't she work in Japan if she really felt uncomfortable with the racism in the WWE?

I don’t understand how anyone is supposed to prove a negative, so if Gail Kim’s accusation has convinced you “the top” of WWE is racist, that’s fine.

He also booked early New Day and told them to roll dices during their entrance. Notice a trend here? Notice how he employs and surrounds himself with racists like Bill Watts and Michael Hayes? So Vince isn’t racist, he just has racist tendencies and racist friends...

There are plenty of sports team owners out there that prove you can turn a blind eye when it comes to money, but still have an extremely bigoted mindset. Hell, leaning a bit into the Mahal push last year, Vince rewrote his promos during his push that changed his character into that 'you Americans ' crap that he absolutely did not need to succeed. Management came off like Mahal couldn't succeed without being the racist heel stereotype that his ethnicity brings about. Even with that amazing Summerslam face package they gave him in the setup for his match against Nakamura, or the video package of him visiting India as a mega-babyface...nope, they had to leave him in the role of 'evil Middle Eastern,' and now that he no longer cares about making money in India thanks to the KSA money, Mahal has literally been dumped back right where he was at the beginning of 2017, 'Shanti' and all.

Well see that's exactly what I was saying--don't know either way, can't say with any authority. You're the one definitely saying the idea of him/them being racist is total bunk. I'm saying that you don't have any more weight behind it than she does, and in fact less, using your own standard.

So Vince isn’t racist, he just has racist tendencies and racist friends... Yes, Mr. Mcmahon, the fictional character used the N-word on a fictional TV show. Just like how Leonard Dicaprio used it in a fictional movie. For every stereotype of an ethnic group, the WWE has also had white stereotypes. La Resistance, The Mountie, The Godwins, and the list could go on forever. Writing stereotypes for a genre of entertainment that has always relied on stereotypes, doesn't prove a person is racist in their personal life. It's well documented that Vince originally gave Steve Austin a manager because he hated his South Texan accent and never wanted him to talk. So is Vince racist toward rednecks from Texas?

Seems like its a violate mix of both; Vince and his close goons being out of touch and oblivious to their racism as usual and Kim being Kim.

Yeah, for someone like Kim, working in Japan is waaaaaaaaay easier said than done. There's a lot of racism towards other East Asian peoples in Japan, ESPECIALLY Koreans.
This is a country where it was considered a massive controversy when their ceremonial Emperor said, acknowledging the reality of genetics and history of human migratory patterns, that the Japanese people have Korean ancestry.
Yikes.
