This is good to hear. That trailer was rough. This seems to be a common theme lately, bad trailers for movies that don't end up being bad... Wasn't The Call or whatever with Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin pretty well received? Or did it just do better than expected? Well the See No Evil sequel is by the Soska Sisters and features Katharine Isabelle. Of course it was better. Also didn't WWE Studios buy into several of these movies (I thought The Call was one; it was already made before WWE was involved?) so they could get a distributor? The Call was brought at Cannes (I believe?) and the only change was putting Otunga in it, along with Dead Man Down.

I got an email about going to a free screening of it last week, wish I would have went now. Never expected this to be good, but I like a good feel good movie and reviews all say it genuinely is that.
Paige has had a crazy life and accomplished a lot, wild they have made a movie about her life.

Anyone see that clip online of an IMDb interview with Kevin Smith, he asks Florence how she got into the role and she replies “What’s great is. You type in her name and so many videos come up... you know wresting...” Paige just looks at the camera like Jim Halpert from The Office. I’d share it here but I’m sure we can link to Reddit. There's another bit later in the video where Kevin Smith is talking to Vince Vaughn about how he's worked at all levels of filmmaking, takes a beat, then adds "except pornography" and Paige just takes an awkward look around as if to say "Can we not mention the p-word at all, please?"

Saw it last night , Wow the trailers did not do this movie any justice. Absolutely fantastic movie. The Knight family is equal parts nuts and awesome. This had so much more drama than I was expecting, the acting was top notch and there were a lot emotional moments . Even Vince Vaughn was likeable. Zelina Vega had AJ Lee’s voice & mannerisms down perfectly, but omg where did they get that outfit from it was not anything AJ had ever worn. Some of the historical inaccuracies are just flat out hillarious
**Spoilers **
Like the Rock being the one to tell Paige that she was going to Raw and facing AJ , Im sure thats not how it went down . Also there was a joke in there about a sex tape , not sure if that was taking a shot at Paige. And Rock took a subtle shot at Vin Diesel

At the very least, the historical inaccuracies here aren’t as insanely egregious as, say, Jesse Ventura beating Goldberg in the 1970s.

Well, I very much enjoyed this! It’s not going to win any Oscars and there are some liberties taken with the story, but it’s a movie, not a documentary. And it does it’s job very well as I could hear people in the audience who either got sucked in or were in the know. An audible pop at the end and, since it’s already been mentioned, at the sex tape joke. It makes me hopeful that this might get more people watching the current product, seeing what the women are doing.
The pity is that Paige isn’t still wrestling to enjoy it. But such is life and knowing her, she wouldn’t want it any other way. She can still be a gateway into NXT and WWE and with this movie, so much the better.
In short, See It, it’s worth it.

Very good film. Impressed me quite a bit. Great performances from everyone, especially the woman who played Paige and the guy who played her brother. Also Vince Vaughn is a treasure even though he's basically playing himself. Five bags of popcorn.
