I think this is the longest he’s been off the radar, not even a Summerslam appearance. Will he be on the mania card this next year? I think they’ll do an actual match with taker this year

They actually announced Cena's return yesterday.
Given when he's returning expect to see him at the Rumble and at WM.

He'll build toward the rumble and a taker rematch at WM

Ugh, who cares?
Dude's done everything there is to do. Be Rock now. Go make movies and show up like every five years or something.
Nothing against the person, but as far as the wrestler? He can f*** off forever until his Hall of Fame induction.

When he was the star, I couldn't stand him, but now he's never there, I sort of miss him.

I miss him. He graduated to a point where him showing up meant something interesting, and that stopped, quickly.

I just find it amusing he's completely skipping Chicago. They have a Live (SD) event the 26th and a Live (Raw) event the 29th.

I’ll always resent Cena for refusing to turn heel.
I’m cool with him now as the part timer who shows up and has great matches with the new guys like Owens, Zayn, Nakamura etc... but the man damn near killed my passion for wrestling during his 2007-2013 run.
People moaned and moaned about Roman but you guys had it lucky. Roman always had good matches and generally came across as a badass. He’s also lost clean a number of times to the likes of Balor; Lashley, Rollins and Strowman.
Super Cena” from that time period wrestled the same match every damn night, refused to lose clean to anyone. He was corny as f*** and constantly reminded me that I watching a “kids show”
It’s funny cause I loved him as the rapper. I could go back on the Network and watch him all night with that gimmick. It was brilliant.

I remember a time where I would be happy that Cena was taking a break. This current main roster is so dull/boring that I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Cena back.

Let’s see, when will Total Bellas need a huge PR push? About that time he’ll be back.

In a perfect world, the Wrestlemania weekend where he is inducted into the HOF. Dude was stale 10 years ago. I respect the guy and everything he's done in and out of the ring. He has nothing left to prove. And he's clearly moving on to a profession where he doesn't have to destroy his body every night.

You know, it's funny in a bittersweet kind of way. I always said when Cena was done, I wouldn't miss him and would be glad. Now that the time has come...I miss the big bowl of Fruity Pebbles. I guess part of it is familiarity. He was on tv nearly every week for a decade plus. The typical feeling of getting old. Another is that he finally endeared hinself to me with the "heel turn" promo the night after WrestleMania 29. 2013-2015 was honestly a great period for Cena. From the Bryan stuff to the Kevin Owens feud. He really managed to turn around a lot peoples' outlook on him, mine included. 2016-present has been terrible though, imo.

I'm fine with never seeing him again.
His Superman push from 2005 to around 2014 was just terrible to watch and it's set the template now that any guy they handpick to be the main guy must stay babyface no matter how stale they get or how much the fans boo them. We're going to be stuck with that now.
Cena has been on auto pilot for the last few years anyway. Other than the AJ Styles feud he's been in one meaningless crappy feud after another, Rusev Flag match, Corbin at Summerslam, Undertaker squash etc.

If Bumblebee becomes a huge box office hit and he manages to follow it up, we’ll be seeing him less and less. Then he’ll put a Rock and just block Vince’s number from his cellphone.
