At what point us it conceded that the 3 Amigos haven't steadied the ship or got it back on course, they just got more effective at bailing out for a while. The only problem was the ship was still taking on water and now they're starting to be swamped again. I was very hard on the 3, Callis especially, early on but even I had to admit that while I didn't like what they were doing, things calmed down for a while. The fact remains though none of them are qualified or have the skills to do what they planned to achieve. Callis' skills are in running a small indy and terrible commentary. Well, he's got anothet small indy now. I think some credit is deserved for them hanging in there like they have. TNA had a major reputation problem and the new crew seemed to overcome that at least. They just don't seem to have big enough ideas to score great ratings or anything. Although, they were attempting something seemingly impossible in signing up for this gig in the first place. I'm rooting for them but it's not looking great.

TNA used to be a company where neo-nazis threatened and intimidated crew members into working without pay, wrestlers were owed tens of thousands of dollars in back pay and let out of their contracts rather than paid back, and shows only happened because of fraudulent loan agreements made with a washed up rock star. They might not have achieved their goals, but there's no way you can argue they've not improved a lot of things here, even if it's just getting back to a baseline of generally not being a colossal f***-up ruining the lives of everyone around it.

The Harris brothers drove away a good chunk of the Production team, now Impact is understaffed as hell.

Callis: Doesn't care what people who don't understand the move think. They have their reasons. Like D'Amore kind of indicates Pop was never really a good fit for what they want to do with the show. Felt the best way to keep a good relationship with Pop was to leave. He also indicates they will be going in a much more "edgier, hardcore and sexier" direction and maybe more programming. Says if you're not in the US, watch through GWN. Fight Network in Canada. Plugs Homecoming and aims to top Slammiversary. Teases a few surprises. www.podcastone.com/killing-the-townFrom this week's Observer: "Essentially it appears Anthem put the show on its own channel, and not even in a strong time slot, which says they couldn’t make a deal to keep the show on the air. It is not a secret that there were forces attempting to sell Impact to AEW a few months ago, but that proposal was turned down."

About the Callis part, this is what he really said(The other part I previously posted....I got it from reddit so sorry about that)
"This week we announced our move from Pop TV, which was a great partner for us. A lot of fans thought 'wow, you guys should be on a different network with a different demographic, so we announced this week we're moving to Pursuit, which is an exciting thing for me. When you talk about kind of how you deal with your content as a company because our parent company Anthem owns not only the Fight Network and Game TV, they also own a significant stake in Pursuit. So it's a great strategic move for us and I think people are going to love to see a sexier, edgier, maybe even a little more hardcore Impact Wrestling. I'm really, really pumped about that, so I'm pretty excited."

Also, who do we expect to take over who has experience? Literally the only people out there who have wrestling company ownership experience who aren’t dead or work for WWE/don’t want to annoy Vince are Jerry Jarrett, Eric Bischoff and Jim Cornette, literally the people who had their shot and either bailed or were pushed out. There’s nobody else you can look at who isn’t running a smaller Indy in some way and go “Yes, THEY should run Impact Wrestling now!”

When are people going to realize that the Attitude Era is dead and is never coming back?

I really feel that was some restrictions by Pop TV, Lucha Underground was also a PG rated show yet they had tons of blood and mature stuff.
Its fine if they get rid of the PG rating.
Russo is banned from the wrestling industry, no one wants him. If anything could see Konnan getting promoted(He also books AAA and MLW).

When are people going to realize that the Attitude Era is dead and is never coming back? People who look for simple solutions and quick fixes that don’t solve the problem. The Attitude era was the biggest money making period in wrestling, but it also scorched the earth to the point that the wwe’s reputation never truly recovered. Apparently everytime Linda McMahon ran for something, the Bark Like a Dog segment was played. This isn’t the first time that tna wants to be edgy or sexier or more violent. The Russo bullshit didn’t worked during the first weekly ppvs. Not that long ago the Beautiful People had a mud match and years later a lingerie match, nobody cared nobody watched.

The thing that allows LU to get away with the things they do is in large part due to who owns El Rey....Robert Rodriguez. From all the interviews with the producers and show runner the one thing Robert wanted more than anything out of LU was not to be like any other wrestling program and also helps they have IMO the best writers amongst any televised wrestling show.
