When they going to bring Mary Jane or Felicia Hardy? This new girl isn't working for me I like Zendaya but I hate the Michelle character so much. Anyway, looks alright. I’m not a fan of this director. But I hope the movie has more the tone of the second half of the trailer than the first. Gylenhaal will probably be the bomb as Mysterio. And I already think I’m gonna prefer Fury’s dynamic with Spidey over Tony’s. Less lovey dovey, more get-your-shit-done.

Gee I wonder if Spider-Man will come back to life. On the flip side, we get it Marvel, you casted Marisa Tomei. She’s really attractive. Does every movie with her in it have to involve someone hitting on her? It was the most glaring things about Civil War and Homecoming when Tony Stark spent most of the scenes he was with Peter in hitting on his damn aunt. Yeah that's super weird. I'm surprised that more people haven't brought it up. The only thing we know about Aunt May's character in this new universe is that she's attractive and people want to bang her.

They've been adding an younger edge to Aunt May since Ultimate Marvel. She was still an older woman but she was certainly not an old lady. Regular Marvel's kept her age higher, but the days of doddering old gal hitting Spider-Man with her purse have been gone since the Clone Saga. By the time J. Jonah Jameson's dad was banging her (and Peter literally walked in on them doing it) we were on that trend down the age spectrum somehow....

Looks really great. I like how Mysterio is faking these threats to seem heroic.

It looks like it could be fun. I'm assuming this is after Infinity War, right? Which means that Fury and Hill return from the snap.

But can we get more of a character beyond "She's hot. Dude I wanna have sex with her."

This movie has a lot to live up to following Into The Spider-Verse.

I know nobody mourns forever, but it is strange she went from being kinda paranoid about Peter being out late in Homecoming to seemingly fine with being Spider-Man in this trailer. It's the "no consequences" booking the MCU likes and I can't stand.

The movie looks awesome, but I hate that we ran into this time where the trailer spoils Endgame. I mean most people knew the snap would be undone, but it would have been nice to have some suspense.
That Mysterio storyline looks niiiiiice though.

There is a significant gap in time between the 2 movies and in that time Infinity War and Endgame happen so I have a feeling that puts some shit in perspective for May. Plus, it could be a matter of her not liking it but also realising that the world needs heroes like Peter. “Needs of the many” shit

I like the idea that the other older characters like Tony or Lucky find Aunt May hot, adds a uncomfortable dynamic when they appreciate her in front of Peter.
I'm not the only one who hopes Nick Fury appreciates Aunt May too, you know SLJ can pull that off

I should clarify, when exactly in the timeline Endgame finishes is another thing entirely, given the time travelling an all that. I mean, from the point of view of everybody except Doc and Marty, the entire Back to the Future trilogy happens in the space of a weekend.

I don’t know how I feel about Aunt May approving of her nephew being Spider-Man after her “WHAT THE f***?” reaction to Peter in the suit at the end of Homecoming., With all the time jumping between Homecoming and Far From Home, its been in the neighborhood of 3 years since she found out. Her being okay with it now is pretty reasonable. Like I would assume that this is his senior trip. I understand what you’re saying, but it’s just that this Peter Parker is a 15/16 year old kid. If I had been raising my nephew for most of his life and found out he’s a masked superhero fighting crime, I wouldn’t be that thrilled he’s out there doing that at that age.

You have a point.
