That's fine. But can we get more of a character beyond "She's hot. Dude I wanna have sex with her." And it’s not like you can’t do more with her. Tomei as an actress is criminally underrated. You could do a TON with Aunt May emotionally. Seeing her totally okay with Peter being Spidey is kinda ridiculous when there’s emotional fruit to be picked over her fears of losing him like she did Ben. ANYTHING. I mean, Raimi in one scene provided emotional depth for May when she started crying over giving Peter 20 bucks for his birthday. She’s heartbroken that she can’t do more and it puts a heavier weight on Peter’s shoulders. But no, it’s “Wow she’s hawt” and nothing else.

They claim Ultimate Spider-Man is a huge influence and yet besides making May younger in USM, she’s kinda badass and often times goes toe to toe with Peter and puts him in his place. I mean I’m alright with them focusing on her being attractive but I agree they could do more.

So , no Tony . Does it mean he dies in edgame ? Plot leaks say that Peter mourning the death of his mentor leaves him reluctant to continue as Spider-Man and Fury takes him under his wing. The trailer shows him not wanting to take the suit with him on vacation, Happy telling him he's "all alone" now, and Fury gives him a pep talk about needing to "step up". Yeah, I'd say either Tony's dead, or it's another Marvel misdirection.

Can't really trust anything Marvel put in trailers at this point.

I should clarify, when exactly in the timeline Endgame finishes is another thing entirely, given the time travelling an all that. I mean, from the point of view of everybody except Doc and Marty, the entire Back to the Future trilogy happens in the space of a weekend. I keep forgetting Endgame is gonna be Timey Wimey bullshit. You have a point. Ah, so Young Justice booking then?

When they going to bring Mary Jane or Felicia Hardy? This new girl isn't working for me I like Zendaya but I hate the Michelle character so much. THANK YOU. Want me to gouge my own eyes and eardrums out? Make a spinoff starring "MJ" and Darcy just being snarky hipsters for 2 hours. Since they have the mutants again, add Ellen Page's version of Kitty Pryde...instead of 3D glasses, they can hand out cyanide pills at the theaters for when the pain is too much.

Not gonna lie, I'd probably like that movie more than all the Spider-Man movies out together.

Yeah, I always wondered why Aunt May was like Peter's grandma. I am over the whole Spider-Boy thing though. Growing up, I was reading an adult Spider-Man who was married to MJ, but in the movies, he will always be a high school kid.
That being said, I am looking forward to this.

I am still thinking Tony has faked his death/retired from being Iron Man completely distancing himself from Peter.
As for the trailer? Looks pretty good. I would've preferred that they released it after Endgame.

Lest we forget, Marvel might have had a huge hand in making and promoting it, but it's still a Sony movie. They're not going to give up a plum summer blockbuster spot to satisfy a competitor, nor are they going to wait until May to start promoting a movie released in July.

Of course it's odd they would be thinking like this at all. But a lot of the general audience most likely still believe that Peter actually died and thus this trailer ruins the surprise. We as fans know he's coming back as far the majority of those characters. But those who don't follow the comics and were shocked at Peter being snapped out of existence, just think about how shocked they'd be if not knowing he'll be back, all of a sudden he returns in Endgame as well as a trailer for his sequel.

By the time J. Jonah Jameson's dad was banging her (and Peter literally walked in on them doing it) we were on that trend down the age spectrum somehow.... Yeah, but May's been quite the go-getter no matter where she was on that spectrum...when Doc Ock did the whole Superior thing and took over Peter's body, Peter accidentally triggered and witnessed Ock's memories of his wild nights with her back when they were engaged.

About the Endgame spoilers...eh, I knew the whole thing’d be undone from the moment the movie ended, even before the post credits scene. Mostly because that’s what happened in the original Infinity Gauntlet story.
But what made IW great for me was that they actually did that story and put that much odds on the heroes to overcome in a way that superhero movies, or even blockbusters in general, rarely do if at all. It’s like a two parter on a cartoon show where the villain has so much of an advantage that, even though you know deep down the heroes will win, you wonder how they’re going to do it and it makes you want to see that happen.
Sure, we all kind of wish this stuff was held back for a bit to prevent that sort of thing but at the same time...this would have happened in most eras of cinema because, well, movie studios need to sell tickets.

Looks like more of the same from Homecoming.
Which for those who enjoyed that, good for ya I guess, probably what you're wanting but... Man, that movie just felt like it was never going to freaking end for me. I'm probably skipping this one as a result.
Also more and more I think Holland is my least favorite Spider-Man (and that's saying something given I don't exactly have a high opinion of Maguire). He just... the more I see of him the more he annoys me. He comes off as such a pathetic whining doofus even when he's supposed to be badass or happy. The man has one acting technique and it's baby voice.

He just... the more I see of him the more he annoys me. He comes off as such a pathetic whining doofus even when he's supposed to be badass or happy. The man has one acting technique and it's baby voice. To be fair, Spider-Man is still a kid so Holland having a baby voice makes sense. He's perfect for the role since as I said Peter is still a kid at this point. It'd make no sense for a fifteen year old who is still starting out to be happy and badass. Peter overall is nerdy, awkward, and shy in general it's only when he puts on the costume that he gets confidence and he uses the "confidence" because he's scared. Now me on the other hand I've always wanted to see a Spider-Man film where he's still a kid. The storylines of him juggling his high school and superhero life always intrigued me. I never felt we actually got anything remotely close to it and the potential is there for some amazing stories. We shall see how they progress Holland's Peter in this film and in the next sequel. Apparently in this trilogy the plan was to have Homecoming be Peter's Freshman Year, I imagine there's a time skip involved because the third sequel is supposed to be Peter's Senior Year.

I honestly don't believe we're ever going to get an adult Peter on the big screen(Not counting Spider-Verse). Closest we got live action wise is Tobey Maguire's version where Peter is in college.

Marvel want to continue using Holland for at least another three or four movies after the current agreement with Sony is up, of which at least a couple would have to be solo movies, since those are the ones Sony makes money from. Holland will be pushing 30 by the time those are done, so I'd expect at least one of those will be adult Peter.
