Right, that's what I was getting at. Especially when in the 90s they showed the level of hero worship he had for Sergei, him picking that as his "face" works.

Loved it , absolute best Spiderman movie yet . Damn the mid credit scene was so perfect, my favorite in the entire MCU. I am excited even more for phase 4

I’m not sure how much happier I could be with the film. Managed to nail Mysterio perfectly and make me feel better about MJ.

Saw it tonight. Thought it was fun. Glad we chose to watch it on IMAX.

Fun movie. Holland and Zendaya had really nice chemistry together and Gyllenhal was pitch-perfect as Mysterio. That mid-credits scene was insane, one of the best pieces of fan service I can remember a film pulling off.

Anyone with the PS4 game, they've added a couple of suits from the movie in as free DLC.

Just watched it. Not bad at all. I can't believe Mysterio was in a Spider-man film and they got him right!

Watched it on Tuesday and holy shit, I had a great time. What a fun movie. The Mysterio scenes were incredible and among the best work the MCU has done. All of the supporting cast was really great. I gotta say, I don't love MJ but I'm coming around on it and I think her and Holland have good chemistry. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}I love all the call-backs and this being a bookend from Iron Man, which started it all. Peter listening to "Back in Black" (I love Led Zepplin!) Happy being involved, and of course, it ending with the secret identity reveal...although under different circumstances.
The mid-credits scene was a huge mind f***. I wonder how they get out of that. Also, I love love LOVE Jameson being re-imagined as an Alex Jones Infowars type. They had a nice little set up for that angle earlier in the movie with MJ saying there's no such thing as definitive truth anymore.
Also shocked by the Skrull reveal, although there were hints at it throughout now that I think of it. Them talking about Kree sleeper cells (Captain Marvel 2?), their reverence for Captain Marvel (don't invoke her) and it made me feel better about Fury falling for Beck's act. I think the real Fury would have sniffed it out so it made sense that Taulos was fooled.
LOVED the villain reveal and the call-backs to Civil War and Iron Man 1. I marked for them using the same scientist guy from the very first movie and for it being the technology Tony was using for the demonstration at MIT. I love how these movies utilize the world they've already set up.
I want to know more about the post-snap world. I like that they touched on so many of the real world consequences of everyone coming back. Seems like its going to cause a lot of problems that will probably be touched on later.

Here's my YouTube review of Spider-Man: Far From Home. Overall I absolutely found it fantastic and believe that Jake's performance as Beck/Mysterio stole the show. Being able to experience Mysterio in all of his glory on the big screen was a fanboy dream come true. {Spoiler}Dare I say one of the coolest moments of the film is Peter using his spider-sense during the final fight and even afterwards. {Spoiler} The first scene during the credits better stick as it opens up extensive possibilities. As for the second scene {Spoiler}Does that imply that Secret Invasion might be the next Phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

Caught it on opening day and yeah my opinion pretty much gels with that of the majority. The European backdrop was a nice change of pace for a Spiderman film, the characters were fun, Mysterio was awesome and the effects were some of the most breathtaking in the whole MCU and yeah the mid credits scene made my jaw drop to the floor. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I had a thought: with Matt Gargan being introduced in the Homecoming mid credits sequence and Jameson making his return to the Spider-Man films in the Far from Home mid credits sequence, perhaps part three will have the Scorpion appear similar to how he was introduced in the comics with JJJ bankrolling a new warrior to take out Spider- Man.

So ideas can be reused if they are done well enough.

Just got back and I thought it was okay. It didn't do anything wrong; I'm just not the biggest Spider-Man fan and I mostly watched out of necessity to see what happened after Endgame. But the mid- and post-credit scenes really brought things up a notch and makes you wonder where we go from here.
And, of course, my trailers:

I really enjoyed it, felt like the right way to reset the board after the conclusion of the first saga.
I hope Tom Holland makes 20 Spider-Man movies.

My hope for the next movie after that mid-credits sequence is that Peter needs a lawyer.

I want Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio in MCU proper, but I’ve been dying for Jen Walters for so long... guess it also really depends on if Marvel and Sony can extend their agreement on Spider-Man as well.
