“I stole the show every damn night, but they don’t want that down there. They want Sooooperstars, and I am a PRO WRESTLER.” If he joins anywhere else, you know that promo is coming. It's pretty obvious. The wrestlers were giving quite a bit of freedom to get themselves over on "Talking Smack" without Vince micromanaging their promos. Many wrestlers took full advantage of the show to prove how good they were, but Dolph Ziggler fell flat on his face and basically gave the crappy smarky promo you posted. I can see Ziggler doing alright in New Japan, because his wrestling would get him over, but AEW is going to be more promo/storyline based. Also, I would like to see Naito and Taichi just destroy him in promos.

The entire story of his team up with Drew McIntyre was "Ziggler ain't got what it takes to compete at this level, and the only reason he has the IC Title is because of Drew. Without him, he would be nowhere". Hard to see where Ziggler goes in WWE after that, so I wouldn't blame him for leaving.

On an unrelated note: Wow, did the New Midnight Express look like 2 bad clones of Ziggler. Holy shit, I can't believe I've never noticed this before. Ziggler's birth parents confirmed?

Dolph does this every year just to make people talk about him and at this point it's just kinda sad. I'll believe he's gone when he actually leaves, but even then I think him trying for comedy or Hollywood is more likely than going to AEW or something. I just wish he'd stop flirting with leaving and complain all the time if he's just going to fall back on signing again, over and over and over without fail Honestly, at this point I put some of this on WWE. Mostly because they don’t just fire the guy and make up some reason like they did with Jimmy Jacobs. If he’s giving your company a bad name by doing interviews and stuff like that, get rid. It’s not like Carlito where you at least want to get in the good graces of his Dad or something.

Maybe that’s why they don’t want to let him go, because he keeps insulting them, so they keep jobbing him out. It’s crazy, not that long ago Ziggler was the champion, not he’s a perpetual joke and a loser, in the time of chimpanzees he was a monkey...

But then, again, it makes you as a company look bad because you keep people around who obviously don’t want to be there. If a retail assistant was moping around, bashing management and claiming they could do better, they’d be out of a job before lunchtime. Apparently it’s fine for WWE people to do even though there’s a much bigger audience and WWE could have someone like Keith Lee, Matt Riddle or Velveteen Dream ready to go by Monday night.

Because that’s how normal businesses and how normal people work. Vince is anything but normal, he wasted money and tv time on an evil dentist and thought that the crowd would love Katie Vick. This is similar to him embarrassing Jim Ross just because it makes him happy. It probably also makes him happy to humiliate Ziggler.

Can’t wait to see Dolph appear on a VH1 talking head show. Or Celebrity Big Brother.

He's good for cheap heat and the two-minute squash these days. Hell, let Curt Hawkins get his first win against Ziggler just for a laugh. Kinda worked for Barry Horowitz.

There's a lot about Vince and the way he does business and the people he brings back after spending a long time trashing him that I think puts the motivation squarely on the idea that he's winnign when Dolph, for all of his complaints, keeps signing on to contracts.

VINCE: Dolph, we need to talk, about this All Elites deal pal...
DOLPH: Huh? I didn't-- uh, that's right! Now that you've got real competition you guys finally noticed how valuable I am to--
HUNNER: Actually, ah, Nick, that's the thing. This bizness needs some fresh faces and young, hungry talent, and we need to make some cuts to afford them. We wish you the best in your future--
DOLPH: What?! I've worked my ass off for years, and you're tossing me out for some indie schmucks?!
VINCE: Tough shit pal, we've got that Ken O'Malley the kids love!
HUNNER: Dad, it's Kenny Ome--
VINCE: Whatever pal, check out his pecs!
*Vince waves around a picture of "Ken O'Malley", an oiled-up bodybuilder in a speedo. Hunner buries his head in his hands.*
DOLPH: That's not even--
VINCE: I don't blame the WWE Universe for drooling over this guy! We're even bringing in that oriental he wressles. What's his name, Night-o? *Flips to another picture*
DOLPH: That's Jimmy Wang Yang!
HUNNER: Pop, it's snowcone time, this can wait 'til tomorrow. *Wheels Vince out*
DOLPH: So, uh... am I still fired?
*Door shuts*
DOLPH: ...hello?

Of course it took Ziggler to stop being used on TV for WWE to finally reunite Hawkins and Ryder

Why is it stil @heelziggler then? If you change your username on Twitter you lose your verification check mark. That's why you see a ton of ex-WWE guys still using their WWE Twitter handles despite not being allowed to use their WWE names.
