I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

Just saw it. I liked it quite a bit. It was pretty fun and light years better than expected

How big a role do Nick Frost and The Rock have?
Can't stand either of them on screen for long so this will influence whether I see it.
(I'm fine with properly tagged spoilers)

Saw it with my friends. I liked it too. Didn't know till reading Wiki after that there's a real documentary it was based on.
Kinda breezed through her NXT experience, at least her being champ there. I understand you can't fit everything though. (would have made sense, kind of like Little Mac winning the Minor-World Circuit titles before hitting the big time...)

Saw it with my mom today and we both enjoyed it a lot. I knew that they would gloss over some stuff, but was still able to enjoy it.

haven't seen it yet but obviously I will. They're pushing for it super hard right now in my home city, billboards everywhere and adverts on the sides of every bus.

Been meaning to see it, which I probably should rush to do given box office-wise it underperformed. Was projected to do $10 million, estimated to have only done $8 million.

I’m planning on seeing it, but I just read an interview with Paige where she said the girls she was training with in NXT were actually worse to her than they are in the film, and that they were all failures. She even pointed out that one of them made it to the main roster, but got released.
So who was down there at the time? I always thought she got along with people like Summer Rae, Emma, and Ivellise. Who else was around? Kaitlyn, Audrey Marie, Aksana? Cameron?
I’m definitely intrigued.

Cinemark has $5 Tuesday nights here, so I might give it a look then.

The girls you mentioned were around then. So was Raquel Diaz and Naomi as well.

There’s 9 people in the theatre including us.. Okay about 35 by the time the movie started. I liked it. As a wrestling fan it’s annoying how much they left out. But I understand why they did that for story reasons.

My theatre was about half full and they were showing it in 2 theatres, so that’s decent.
I didn’t envision this making any money, but it will definitely be in the positive after all is said and done. Which I think is a major positive.

Which I think is a major positive. At the very least, it’s getting favorable reviews everywhere, which is different for a WWE Studios film.

Well... Its hardly an era for "great movies" anymore. Most subpar movies these days get glaring reviews because the standards have lowered so much

Which I think is a major positive. I didn’t think it would make money anyway, especially with two big animated franchises having movies out right now (LEGO Movie and How to Train Your Dragon), but just getting good reviews and buzz feels like a win for WWE and the Rock’s studio.

It's made 8.2M so far, the budget was 11M so it's ok track to get a profit. Good for them. Haven't seen it yet but I'll keep it when it hits Netflix or something.

I went to a sold out showing of it, last night, with my boyfriend. Fans enjoyed it, and non fans were cheering for her success. We both really liked it.

I saw it last night, I thought it was really good. Genuinely funny and heartwarming film. Nothing too innovative but the interactions between the family are enjoyable to watch and Florence Pugh does a great job as Paige.
