Ironically, for a city renowned for its thieves, the Fightin' Spiders keep getting robbed.
And that guy Piggee must be related to Cornfed.

And here we are with the second half of Week 3 of FAN Football. Let's go into the action.
Dakota Dynamo @ Redmond Plumbers
The Dynamo dominate the first half, going up 17-0 after a couple touchdowns and a field goal. Late in the first half, the Plumbers QB hits his receiver deep, and it’s first and goal with a little over a minute left in the half. But the Plumbers can’t get into the endzone from 7 yards out, and have to kick a field goal. The Dynamo respond with a quick strike, but stall out after a catch in the endzone was ruled incomplete, and they get a field goal. At the half, Dakota leads Redmond, 20-3.
The Plumbers force a 3 and out on the Dynamo at the beginning of the third, and march down the field. But they stall and settle for 3 again, now down 20-6. The Dynamo respond, but can only get 3, and lead late in the third, 23-6. The Plumbers march down field, and after a quick review in the booth, score a touchdown to make the score 23-13 with a little over 7 minutes left in the game. The Dynamo try to get another drive going, but are picked off! The Plumbers quick strike, but are forced to settle for 3 again, and are down 23-16. Both teams punt it back and forth, and the Plumbers get it back with 1:57 to go. They march down field and go for it on 4th and 10 from the 11, but the receiver can’t get his feet down. The Dynamo take over deep in their territory with under a minute left. They get a first down, and that’s all she wrote.
Dakota Dynamo 23 Redmond Plumbers 16
Las Vegas Cardsharks @ Missoula Renegades
A tough, defensive battle, as the only points scored in the first quarter is a touchdown pass by the Cardsharks. Late in the half, the Renegades move down field, but can only get 3 out of the drive, and trail 7-3 with a little over a minute to go. The Cardsharks run out the clock, and the halftime score is 7-3, Cardsharks over the Renegades.
The Renegades strike first in the third, kicking another field goal and going down 7-6. Las Vegas comes back, and is able to score another touchdown late in the 3rd, taking a 14-6 lead going into the fourth. In the fourth, the Cardsharks eat up a bunch of clock, marching methodically down field right into the end zone! Just under 5 minutes to go, Las Vegas leads Missoula, 21-6. The Renegades try to get back in the game, but are stopped on 4th down, and the Cardsharks take over on downs. Las Vegas eats some more clock, and puts up 3 more insurance points, going up 24-6. The Renegades get it back, and strike quickly, now only down 24-13. They try for an onside kick, but don’t get it back, and the Sharks will run out the clock. They use up most of it, getting a field goal with 16 seconds left, going up 27-13. Missoula tries to get a late score, but it’s no good.
Las Vegas Cardsharks 27 Missoula Renegades 13
Los Angeles Stars @ Butte Holes
The Stars start off striking first, getting a field goal to go up 3-0. But the Holes fight back, and they get a score to go up 7-3. It continues to be a defensive battle, as the Holes lead after one, 7-3. In the beginning of the second quarter, the Holes get 3 points on the board, going up 10-3. After another punt, the Holes march down field, and get another 3 points, going up 13-3 with just under 3 minutes to play in the half. The Stars march downfield quickly, and get in the endzone, now down 13-10. But Butte comes right back, as they score quickly, going up 20-10. The Stars quick strike down field, but only get 3 as we go into halftime, with Butte leading, 20-13.
Butte starts off with the ball, but fumbles it, and the Stars recover! But the Stars go three and out and punt it back. Butte’s QB hands it off to the running back, and he’s off to the races!! An 80 yard TD run as Butte leads, 27-13. After another punt, Butte strikes on the first play, going deep for a touchdown, and now lead, 34-13. The Stars continue to struggle on offense, and Butte is taking advantage, as they score another quick strike, going up 41-13. LA gets a pick to start the fourth quarter, but they are in a deep hole, no pun intended. And the drive stalls again, and the Stars punt again. The fourth quarter is pretty much all punts, as neither team gets much momentum going.
Butte Holes 41 Los Angeles Stars 13
Holes QB Josh Lueders had himself a game, going 17/31 for 425 yards, 4 TDs, 2 INTs. Holes RB DeWayne Watson had a good outing as well, 20 carries for 162 yards and 1 TD.

Wish I got my team in on this. Always year 2. Think I or Gecko can fix this this in time. You definitely have a spot for Season 2. The Cardsharks will just fold after the season, since I only added them as my 2nd team to get to 12 to start the season. And here's the Week 4 lineup: Bluegrass Bears at Tea Wasters United West Virginia Woodcutters at New Jersey Crusaders Columbus Chill at Shadizar Spiders Butte Holes at Dakota Dynamo Las Vegas Cardsharks at Redmond Plumbers Missoula Renegades at Los Angeles Stars Crazy stat for the 1st Quarter of the Season: The Home Team is 7-11. So Homefield Advantage isn't a big advantage so far.

If we can get 16 people, could we all have 2 teams for season 2? I don't know how many slots Madden 12 will let you have for created teams. Unless I moved it over to NCAA 14 for next season. But I would still prefer 14 teams at a max.

And here we are with Week 4 of FAN Football. Let's see who builds momentum as we hit the 1/3 Way Mark.
Bluegrass Bears @ Tea Wasters United
This has been a tough one for the United. The Bears score in the first after a pick, going up 7-0. And despite getting two turnovers, the United can’t take advantage of it. The Bears march down field late and score again, going up 14-0 into the half.
The Bears strike again in the third quarter with a 55-yard TD pass, going up 21-0. The United finally get on the board late in the third, and we go into the 4th quarter with the Bears leading the United, 21-7. After a few more punts, the United march down field again and into the endzone, now down 21-14! The Bears start to eat up the clock, though, and are in the redzone with 2 minutes left. They add a field late to potentially seal the deal, going up 24-14. The United try to answer, but are sacked on 3rd down, and the QB goes deep on fourth down, but is picked off.
Bluegrass Bears 24 Tea Wasters United 14
West Virginia Woodcutters @ New Jersey Crusaders
A tough defensive battle, as the only points scored in the first is a field goal by the Woodcutters, leading 3-0 after one. The Crusaders march late in the 2nd quarter, and with just under 2 minutes to go, they get in the endzone, going up 7-3! It’s defensive struggle going into half time, as New Jersey leads West Virginia, 7-3.
The Woodcutters march down field in the third, but on third down, the Crusaders get a pick! New Jersey marches down field, looking to go up by 2 scores. Unfortunately, they are stopped on 3rd down, and kick the field goal to go up, 10-3. The defensive struggle continues, until about halfway through the fourth, as the Crusaders march down field, and rumble into the endzone to go up 17-3! The Woodcutters march down field, trying to get a score, but are stopped on 4th down. The Crusaders burn the rest of the clock with a little drive, and pick up a big win here.
New Jersey Crusaders 17 West Virginia Woodcutters 3
Crusaders RB Juliaus Piggee with another great game, with 21 carries for 86 yards and 2 TDs.
Columbus Chill @ Shadizar Spiders
Columbus marches out to a 10-0 lead, but the Spiders answer with a deep bomb for the touchdown early in the second quarter, cutting the lead to 10-7. After a pick by the defense, the Spiders march down field and get in the endzone to go up 14-10. The Chill move down field, but can only get a field goal, now down 14-13. The Spiders respond quickly, getting downfield and into the endzone, going up 21-13. Columbus marches down field, but can only get three again, now down 21-16 with less than a minute to go. And that’ll be the score at the half.
The third quarter is a defensive struggle, as both teams can’t seem to move the ball. But the Chill finally get something going, and they march down field for a score! They go for two and get it, now up 24-21. After a pick, the Chill get it back, but on their drive, the Spiders get a pick off a deflection, and they run it back 70 yards for a pick 6, going up 28-24! The Chill punt it back to the Spiders after a short drive, but on their drive, the Spiders throw a pick! And that ends the third quarter. The fourth quarter is another defensive struggle. But the Spiders start a drive that eats up quite a bit of clock, making the Chill use their timeouts. The Spiders get another touchdown with just over a minute left, and that should be the dagger.
Shadizar Spiders 35 Columbus Chill 24
Spiders RB Ricardo Kennedy had a great day as well, 25 carries for 205 yards and 1 TD. As did Spiders WR Jaquante Olaniyan, 6 receptions for 128 yards and 3 TDs.
