The fact that this was the planned finish and it was only the pin count that was botched is disappointing. That was a total wet fart of an ending.

Basically, a lot of people feared that there would be some bullshit to protect Ronda, at the end. And so it proved to be. Someone else reported that there was disagreement over whether the ending should be a submission or a pin, and I'm sure those arguing for a pin were thinking about "keeping Ronda strong" for if/when she gets back in the ring. And a pin would have been fine... except Becky doesn't have a finishing move that results in a pin. It seems like they'd have been smarter using the last couple of months to build up a move for her - a kick or knee strike maybe - that could be presented as a match ending move. Then they wouldn't have needed a fluky looking reversal pin.

Iβve read a few people say the crowd was hot for the most part. Is it just me that it doesnβt come across to as? I dunno if itβs because of the size of the crowd but genuinely felt muted for the most part I watched it over 2 nights because f*** that noise and still was burned out at the end. I know they wonβt stop though which honestly has me wondering how out of control this is gonna get Main event wasnβt all I hoped it would be but was decent. Genius idea having the Universal match go on first and how it was booked Kofi winning brought a big smile to my face too I will say, as much as I didnβt want to the whole Miz dad squaring up to Shane was hilarious And Elias.....just too entertaining man I don't think they were hot all night, but popped for big spots all night after being rowdy throughout a lot of the earlier matches. Last year I felt like they just got quieter after they wore out, so this was still an improvement.

I dunno if itβs because of the size of the crowd but genuinely felt muted for the most part I think it depended where you sat. My area was pretty dead. However, someone I work with sat more towards the middle and told me that his area was pretty into it.

The funny thing though is the majority of top women right now have a submission manuever and we've seen a lot of submission finishes. Hell Becky tapped at the Rumble. The women have done a lot to erase the stigma of tapping out being a sign of weakness. It's possible that some at the top still don't see it that way though.

They should've built the Lass Ride up as a legitimate second finisher for Becky so that they didn't need to go with the crucifix pin, or just have her go ballistic on Ronda with a chair like Austin vs. Rock at WM X7. Oh well.
Anyway, I'm thinking about it right now and what a WM resume Seth Rollins has.
29: The Shield go over Orton, Sheamus & Big Show 30: The Shield go over New Age Outlaws & Kane in a complete squash 31: Loses to Orton, but ends up cashing in MITB in one of the best WM moments ever 33: Beats HHH with his own finisher 34: Wins IC Championship 35: Beats Brock for the Universal Championship
They might have to give him some kind of WrestleMania nickname.
